Bonnaroo is selling single day Nashville shuttle tickets!! Saturday EDM lineup is great and will probably be camped out at the Other Stage all day.
love this lineup except they did a perfect job of making each weekend 50% of the people I wanted to see
I’d definitely be interested in going to this. A couple questions for anyone who has gone before. How quickly do you think tickets will sell out? And are the travel packages that include hotel worth it or would it just be easier / more cost effective to get a hotel (or other lodging) separately?
Some years I’ve bought tickets right away. Others just wait till people unload them for cheap. We’ve always gotten an Airbnb right by the track. With everything opening up and people wanting to get back out there I’d buy tickets and find lodging sooner rather than later if you can afford it.
Typically you can get tickets at the gate. I don’t know about post-COVID, but it’s a huge space and the weekend lineups were clearly set with crowd mitigation in mind. Packages may be worth it depending on your tolerance for walking and searching for Ubers. If they have transport to/fro included in the package, I wouldn’t discount the value in that but don’t overprice it, either. Keep in mind that Jazz Fest ends everyday at sundown, and a lot of the best music starts at 9pm or 1/2am.
Music stops at the fest at 7pm but there are late night shows all over the city that go into the early hours of the morning.
This. The festival ends everyday at 7pm, but given the vast number of musicians in town, there are lots of concerts held around town all night long. You could go to NOLA during jazz fest and have an absolute blast without ever stepping foot at the fair grounds (where the festival is held). Also, the “daze between” (Monday - Wednesday/Thursday) the two weekends of the festival is also super fun around town, so an extended trip is well worth it IMO
weekend 2 for sure. Just trying to make sure I take the correct days off to see the artists I like. I can really only take one work day off then
Yeah. Realistically that would mean missing two of the four headliners. It's a tough one to book and not know for 4 months
