Here is what I know as of late this evening. 1. I heard there was confidence on Alabama’s side heading into the official visit weekend. Heard on Sunday evening he seemed ready to announce and things were looking good for the Tide. 2. Spoke with Chet Brooks late Sunday night about the trip. His comments were very pro Alabama. He didn’t give an indication as to when the announcement will happen even though most expected him to announce shortly after his trip to Bama. 3. Brooks posted on his Twitter account and earlier today he will make an announcement on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. He did not indicate if it is a commitment or announcement of a decision date. The belief is he will announce a commitment. Most suspect Alabama since he seemed leaning that way. 4. We are fortunate to have great sources of contact throughout our network, Tuscaloosa, etc….I began reaching out to sources from Tuscaloosa, College Station and Austin. No one seems certain what he will do as far as which school earns his commitment, but multiple people who cover A&M expect him to go elsewhere. 5. A few people, I trust, do not believe it’s Alabama. He took a visit early last week to Ohio State. There has been some chatter of possibly the Buckeyes. Another source said they heard it is between Texas and one other school. Is that school Ohio State? 6. All of this seems just more of a hunch than anything else. I try to go by what I hear from multiple people rather than just one side. It seems to have changed a few times in the last week. My final prediction is Brooks will go elsewhere. The good news is there is a high number of DB targets still available.
Our mods are saying they have no clue and that other mods are saying he is playing with people. Whatever that means.
Keith can't even do one for us because no one will talk to about whats going on Our rivals mods posted a podcast yesterday upset about the lack of access they're getting with this new staff too
If someone would've told me a month ago we'd be down to one 2022 WR commit and it was Luther Burden...
Picked up a CB from Wiltfong for Dewberry this afternoon as well. Would love to add him and Abor to our Texas class of Ewers, Burton and Brooks.
It appears the 2 best quarterbacks in the country will be attending Big Ten schools according to the trustworthy and accurate Elite 11 day 1 rankings from unbiased, accurate, and talented observers.
Mizzou has gotten Crystal Balls for 4* RB Tavarous Jones (thank you texas for filling up the RB slots) and #1 Player in Nebraska, 4* OL Deshawn Woods (thank you for being you, Scott Frost) Both are announcing this weekend. That would make a p cool weekend. Jones seems more likely than Woods though. Although It's either us or ASU for Woods, and it seems pretty dumb to commit to ASU right now.
Think the ASU train has sailed for Woods(and Jackson), no point in committing here with all the news rolling in. If they really want to, we’ll be here in December if things look different… but in the summer when all of this is looking like Herm and company won’t survive? Makes no sense
We are probably going to land several guys in the next week, couple 4 stars, couple 3 stars. Highest ranked will be RB Nick Singleton it seems.
sounds like ducks for Cam Williams. sorry #Oklahoma Sooners and #Texas Longhorns https://247sports.com/player/cameron-williams-46085065/
