So far the I've had no issues with comfort. They remind me of comply foam tips I've used in the past. The ear tips do a great job and sealing off the canal. There is a test feature in the app to ensure you have the correct tips in. I actually have the medium in one ear and the large in the other.
Used vehicles are being bought at a premium now, especially nice trucks. Had a 2018 Silverado z71 with low miles and I got 10k more for it than what I paid for it a year and a half ago. I ended up getting the titan for less than a hundred bucks more monthly than what I was already paying. every dealership is begging people to bring their used vehicles in. I bought my dad a 2018 Ford for Christmas and they offered me 7k more for it than what I bought it 6 months ago. Seriously thinking about trading his in too.
Getting woken up in the night a couple nights a year is hardly a life or death situation. If neither a nuisance nor nor a life or death scenario, my apologies for fumbling on the correct word.
Ok, so for people who can’t sleep, it’s slightly above nuisance. But wildfires, PTSD, and so on are significantly more serious. Frankly I’m not sure how you’ve watched the wildfire news the past few years and concluded its anything like a nuisance. Millions and even billions in property damage, total loss of homes and livelihoods, and of course the severe destruction of already limited wildlife habitat. Idk man, I’ll drop it since it’s pretty OT, but fireworks are fucking stupid and just another indulgent consumer item that Americans believe is their right to enjoy with zero regard to its effects.
I remember being in Bastrop, TX when it caught on fire. We had so many fire precautions on site because central Texas was basically all tinder at that point. I’m wanting to say it was due to someone grilling out over Labor Day that caused it.
I’m heavily leveraged. Happens every year. Some totally preventable shit like dragging an RV chain or blasting colors into the sky and litter across 100 acres.
He was talking about getting woken up and it only takes 1 person to wake the whole neighborhood. That is the only thing I was discussing with him. He only brought up the PTSD thing after I said getting woken up a couple nights of the year is an inconvenience. If you want to make the points you made, which are valid, do not supply my posts about one thing to be in opposition to the other points you brought up. That is not what I was speaking against.
Fireworks are fun as shit, but they're unfortunately irresponsible outside of very narrow circumstances.
When I was younger I put on a firework show with a few neighborhood friends for about five years. We would do some serious damage at Phantom Fireworks. Always made sure to clean up the cul de sac the following morning. Now I see/hear the Sea World fireworks every evening at 8:52. I don’t mind the 8 minute show at all, but wonder how the animals in the park fare.
Giving these a try. Was wildly disappointed with the Ex Officios (former TMB underwear title holder)…
Yeah, maybe I got the wrong kind or used them for sports when they weren’t supposed to be… zero support.
I got these for walking with my pushcart and love them. Even just wear them with shorts like sneaks on occasion.
I have some different shorts of theirs that are very comfortable, but the waist runs pretty damn big. You might want to check the reviews to see if you should order a size down
Currently wearing them and love them. I need to pick up more in all colors I think. Zip back pocket has been great while in Rome.
I got the pants and they varied crazy between colors. The blue is on the small size, the grey was huge. Then the black was closer to the blue size and tan was larger. At ~$20 I’m not complaining.
I need some more no show socks and was looking at spending fucking $90 on Bombas but said fuck it and spent $12.99 on 32 degrees. Based on how much I love my undies it’s worth the experiment
I’ll report back. I’m not even expecting them to be as good as my bombas but shit for $12.99 for a 6 pack I’ll take “good enough”
Yeah, I bought them anyway. I got 6 pair of socks, 4 pair of boxers, 4 undershirts, and a pair of navy shorts for less than $60 all in with free delivery. That's nuts.
My buddy picked these up for me at the UGA golf course this weekend. Got a grey for driver and red for 3 wood. They look great in person. Cawgs or Gie! Degausser Connor Norman
I just picked up a 3 pack of the active mesh style at Costco the other day for $12.99. Not bad. Is one supposed to be more comfortable than the other?
Take it from me, when it comes to no-shows this is a poor attitude. A few years ago I found a Gold Toe outlet and bought a metric shit ton of their no-shows in several colors on the cheap to wear with loafers. In the end not only do they 'show' but EVERY. SINGLE. PAIR. has a bumble at the end of the seam right on the end of the little toe. With loafers that have always fit just right this bumble gets pressed into the little toe and by 10AM hurts like a motherfucker. I now have to make sure I wear a different brand of sock altogether when I wear my 'just right' loafers (AE Sanibels in walnut) which I love and it's just an early morning hassle. I'm also interested to hear about your 32Degree no-show experience. Namely, tell me about that toe seam.
Im with you, my “good enough” is a pretty high standard but damn Bombas are expensive. Good no shows are tough to come by so I’m hoping this works out.
Wife got me a 6pk for Christmas 2019 though and they’re going strong after daily wear. Same argument I make for the ExOfficios, they’re all at least 3yrs old.
Big Adidas sale and there's a 30% off coupon code. (July) These were 88 bucks Got these for my daughter for like 22..
Darn Tough for warranty (lifetime) Fits feel slightly better but the warranty not so much. I personally don’t like how Bombas socks feel/fit my foot, but their customer service is A++++. My son lost a Cookie Monster sock and when we wrote to ask if you could buy just that pair (it was a 7 pair Sesame Street set), they sent us a whole set for free. Plus their kids socks have the little rubber grips on them for traction so that’s helpful for rowdy kids running on slick surfaces.
Darn tough aren't truly no show, at least the ones I have. Uniqlo have been my favorite from a value perspective and totally no show.
https://www.beclothed.com/products/silver-noshow-socks-cotton You're welcome. They're amazing and I will never purchase another pair of no shows.
