https://instagram.com/overlord_nashville?igshid=1lwyz8fmng93s These are the kinds of new bars Nashville needs, I feel like. Although the influencer hotel that’s coming up across the street with the kind of crowd that will draw will probably ruin it quickly.
Had no idea about this new venue in Thompson's Station. FirstBank Amphitheater announced concert schedule Aug. 5 – Greta Van Fleet Aug. 27 – Lady A Aug. 29 – Harry Connick Jr. Sept. 16 and 17 – Jonas Brothers with Kelsea Ballerini Sept. 29 – Santana Oct. 1 – Nathaniel Rateliff
Daddy Rabbit Not sure if you are a seafood fan, but the Louisiana Seafood Co. behind the original Toots has some really good food and prices. Should check them out if you haven’t already.
I haven't been this year, but yes that place is awesome. I use to get a box of oysters from them once a year. I need to do that again.
I wish I had the foresight to invest in a 2nd property a few years back. A developer bought that old duplex drug house a few houses down for $325K and promptly demolished it a week later.
A developer just bought a 3bed/1bath on my street for $500k and plans to demo it. They bought it for the land, not the house. Tear it down and build two more on the same lot. $550k a block over was a 4bed/3bath house with a pool. 5 years old. HPR developers can take a hike though
Hey now, I am in a 2 story HPR with 1950sq ft and love it. High density housing is great. I wouldn’t buy or live in a 3 story.
My 1/3 acre lot and not being elbow distance away from you is great. Plus, I know how most of those HPRs were built recently (see: Nations) and those aren't quality builds, for the most part. Edit: Lot, not backyard. I wish.
If anyone is looking for a spacious new apartment, this developer turned a motel off Trinity Lane into spacious 240sq ft apartments for $1,000/month https://www.sohananashville.com/?fb...kjjfhgfHSIbyKpYkPIh2m0eFdbs8dnvSgar4us_QPIiRc
You should do whatever is necessary to get a reservation at The Continental, especially while it's Sean's only open restaurant. Absolutely fantastic experience. Sean served one of the starter courses and our main entree to us tableside.
Prime rib that Sean served with fresh black truffles and the venison. The courses are prix fixe and included with entree choice. Entrees are $80 or $100. Going back as soon as I can get another reservation.
god damn that’s in a rough area. $1k/month for a tiny studio in the hood? No thank you. Daddy Rabbit this is right near your recent trinity lane experience.
Didn’t realize it was prix fixe, but that should make ordering easier. Just looked up the June menu and it looked great. Hopefully the August one will be as good
Turning 40 next month. Looking for recommendations on where I should request the wife take me to eat.
I'd be doing The Optimist or Oku if you're unable to get a reservation at The Continental. I'm still dreaming about every course of that meal, and the exceptional service from Sean and his team. Happy early birthday!
Yes, I will be bartending the tent closest to the stage on the right side if youre looking at the stage. Come by and I may can get you a shot.
Goodbye East Nashville Hello Sylvan Park I’m walking distance to bearded iris yet again. May have done that on purpose.
It was a really good show, I thought. We were closer to the back, so I went to that bar instead. Although I did go to what I thought was your bar a couple of times, but I didn’t see anyone I though would be you.
I get it. You've casually avoided me for years. I don't blame you. I wouldn't want to meet me either. Spoiler
I saw a couple of people with utk hats and I remembered I didn’t want to be associated with that kind of person, so I bounced.
Going to Nashville in a few weeks. Any recs for neighborhoods to stay in? Didn't see it in the OP recs
