I've felt a pretty big drop-off from Buxton to Jasson in the OF. Jasson doesn't seem to get the jump or accelerate like Buxton.
Messed up my punctuation there lol meant for it to read like I added Jassen and then adding Correa will be an IF boost. I was thinking that would be my OF (Trout, Bux, Jassen). Wish I hit better with Trout, it’ll suck to get rid of Winker.
There won’t be a better CF in the game in terms of defense, IMO. More than happy with him in LF, doesn’t require jump like CF. Really it’s just him getting to more fouls, warning track high shots and slappers down the line.
I have been raking with Gary Sanchez and I JUST got Salvy as catcher to back him up today too. Oh well

I had no problem restarting but the moments unless it's a multi-game moment. those you can't restart without exiting
I always start at the bottom. Did you do Schwarber's moment? Won't let me restart, I have to quit and load back in every time.
I’m skipping schwarber and correa’s moment. You don’t need to do all the moments to complete the monthly.
Schwarber’s is easy. I just sat high and finished it on 2nd AB of 2nd game. The HRs count towards XBH so it’s really 2 HR and 2 other XBH
Yea I knocked out the three 10 point ones in 5 innings. If someone puts a ball in play, don't catch it and K the next guy lol. Had the 30 TB in line 3 innings. Rookie at Coors and hit tanks.
Yep, exactly what I did. Then hopefully unlock a few cards at a time and do their missions in the same game. I was only able to play for a little over an hour tonight but already over halfway done. Should be able to get Schwarber tomorrow.
Same. I'm at 54 and get 15 more from the collection. Did most of the moments, skipped the pitching and the last 2. Probably takes 2 hours total. Only negative is literally every lineup will have him at catcher. Most teams had Buxton, but a lot had Trout and other corner OF's too. Like 98% will have Schwarber. That's my only complaint really about the cards. There's a few cards clearly superior at each position so the lineups are so similar game to game.
C- Schwarber 1b - Ortiz or Murray 2b - Jackie or Simien SS - Cap/Franco 3b - Chipper LF - Some options here CF - Buxton or Dominguez RF - Trout That'll be like 80% of teams at 750+.

Honestly I love doing them while having a beverage or while on a conference call. If I’m paying attention to something else I don’t get as pissed off.
I tried the 6 inning with DeGrom yesterday while on a call. Twice I got to the 6th inning without letting up any runs or hits and both times they hit a HR in the 6th inning. So frustrating.

I think it’s at Shippett (or if it’s not, and you don’t choose Shippett, you’re a loser). Just a fun event to blast dingers. Was actually super helpful last year to prestige guys, less helpful now with parallels.

Last year, the runner gets swapped out for the batter in the 9 hole, but I swear a couple of times this year they’ve just taken him off the bases and given me an out for it. This was at the very beginning, so maybe they’ve fixed it.
I'll never understand why they make the monthly reward cards completely useless. I get it, maybe you don't do it the full game, but they are shit from the beginning. You're putting out 98 and 99 17 year olds now and you give us two low 90's cards for HOFers. Why?
One time I was trying to beat the showdown before I had to leave so I was just swinging at everything and this happened. It was early on so I thought it was another glitch with the game but I googled it and it appeared it had happened in previous games too lol
Pretty sure last year some random knuckle ball pitcher went from like 400 stubs to 3-4K because of this event. I bought the guy last week for like 600, should have bought way more to flip.
My GF is out of town from today through Monday and I’m working from home. It’s taking all of my willpower not to bring my laptop downstairs and just move the mouse around while I grind the POTM stuff. Hopefully can finish it over lunch, might not resist the urge tomorrow afternoon though.

The schedule on the main page says the event will be 60-64 ovr pitchers so he won't be eligible unless he somehow gets a 20pt upgrade. Either way would've been some easy stubs with that kind of profit.
Saw one of the mlb twitch guys on twitter say he gave up on trying to compete at HOF and Legend in ranked seasons and has just accepted he should be playing on all star all the time a few days ago so he wasn't so stressed. I took that to heart last night and quit out of several games to go from 700 to around 600 so I knew for sure my game would be on all star and it was much more enjoyable... I also feel dirty that it was enjoyable because it was relatively easy and not entirely fair to my opponent.
Haha been thinking of doing this myself. I've been stuck between like 740 and 820 for a while. Most games are HOF and just not enjoyable for me. I played 1 game in a little league park with max elevation and it was like 8-7 and was fun. Might just do that more.
Yeah I have no problem losing, but when every game has like 8-9 combined hits and it’s who can get lucky and hit a couple bombs it gets annoying for sure. There has to be a way to tweak a few things at the high levels so that 101mph isn’t completely untouchable, or if that’s the case, make PCI bigger/contact a tad easier. I don’t know exactly.
Today was a grind. Finished out the POTM and then only had 1 more signature series card to complete Mo. So I did the Whitey Ford program and now added Schwarber and Mo to my team today. It's too bad that I suck against people because my squad is loaded. Willpépé thanks for the help with the event. I got to 25 last night so added Jasson as well.
