Collin in trouble off the box on 15 is about the only hope we have of a tight finish and Spieth needs this
Morikawa is like 170th in putting on the year but 1st at the open. That’s some serious volatility. Kinda shows you the randomness of putting. He’s such a good ball striker, so when he putts well, he’s gonna be tough to beat.
One of your team members just won a major and it has catapulted you into.......7th place. I pity you that you think that entitles you to talk shit to anyone
Too bad he hit some off shots at times but if that and the par 5 for eagle that almost dropped had gone in, oh boy.
It’s weird how the announcers talk about Louis finishing top five in these majors like he died are something. He’s gonna be okay!
A few weeks back I found what I believe is a mistake on TGW’s website for the custom options on Titleist drivers/fairway woods to get a Graphite Design Tour AD DI Black shaft at no extra cost, normally a $200+ shaft. I was already fitted for and liked the TSi2 so I decided to give it a shot assuming the order would be canceled. I finally received both clubs from Titleist and after an adjustment to the driver settings to decrease loft, this shaft really does launch it perfectly. The error doesn’t work on any of the hybrids unfortunately but I’d love to eventually get the same shaft in my hybrid
Barbasol Championship on Golf Channel going to playoff. 34 year old Seamus Power looking for his first PGA win and JT Poston trying to get his second. Poston blew a 4 stroke lead.
Great pair of birdies to start the playoff. Poston’s out of bounds ruling which lead to a double is something I’ve never seen before. Running string between two OB stakes to determine if his ball was in or out.
Absolutely brutal evening for JT Poston. Has a 4 stroke lead. +3 on his final 4 holes, including a ball that was OB by inches. Power holes a chip on the first playoff hole. 6th playoff hole his tee ball lands inside the red line but dribbles into the water.
I went in for a putter fitting at club champion. They attached a measurement device to the shaft, I can't remember the name of what they called it. I hit like 15 putts from I think 15 feet and I sank an alarming amount to where I thought maybe the floor was designed to do that. We talked about my misses in general and what my biggest issues were. Found out that the putter I have currently is essentially perfect for me, he adjusted the lie angle just slightly though. but then after that he asked if I wanted to just stick with my current putter or find something new. Was curious what else would happen so I said new. Then spent the last like 40 minutes of the session just trying all the putters that "fit" my profile. Very little feedback on that end. Fitter didn't even bother to put together an edel or pxg putters which I felt was pretty annoying. Almost bought a sik dw but talked myself out of it because the one I have is essentially perfect for me and I've always putted well with it.
I went and got fitted for irons. Ended up in a standard length, standard lie, standard shaft set. Nice to know but actually a little disappointing.
