they won't. that's a literal child, he won't look the same in five to ten years. I think best case is you just prevent him from purchasing tickets in his own name (I'm sure he's on some sort of list and all clubs share said list) and hope he's not a dickhead anymore when he inevitably returns by getting tickets from friends or scalpers and whatnot. like, he might want to avoid Yankees games for the rest of this season but nobody will pick him out of a crowd next year.
Anyone seen a good list of players expected to be available? Feels like it’s going to be a buyers market with cash issues all over baseball still can’t imagine we are going to see much of any prospects of note traded
I still think the front office will try and sign one of Rizzo or Baez before the deadline. Bryant and Kimbrel will be available for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if we make Hendricks available. He's only got two years left on his contract after this year and we don't seem to be setting ourselves up to compete until 2024 at the earliest.
Mookie scratched after leaving the game Saturday and missing Sunday. Booooo. He was just heating up too
I'm of the belief that, in honor of Space Jam's release, Soto took Schwarber's home run powers before the break and sent him to the IL so Soto could wreck the league in the second half.
This is apropos of nothing but Jonathan India raised his on base percentage to .404 today. He has an obp of .447 since June 1, which is the best in baseball. He struggled a bit to start the year, but what an absolutely phenomenal rookie season.
Is it just me or did the Rays official account just tweet a video of Nick Anderson rehabbing in which someone calls him Big Dick Nick?
Not watching, but gotta love those two sliders way outside the zone being called strikes against Ohtani. He then struck out on a pitch outside the zone protecting with 2 strikes
