Joining some friends for Aggies v Colorado in early September staying downtown at the grand Hyatt which looks like it’s pretty close to mile high is there a can’t miss place to go to dinner that’s downtown or close? They were talking about going to STK but I’ve been to the one in Vegas a few times and it’s just mediocre IMO Breakfast or brunch places downtown? also, hogs play Texas at 6:00 that evening after the aggie game-is there somewhere to watch that between mile high and the hotel thank you
Sam's No. 3 is downtown, as is Snooze, but all normally involve a wait. Pretty sure the last 4 or 5 pages have had some references to preferred sports bars downtown
Thanks I’ll read through the thread have flown into Denver a handful of times but its always to go skiing
Earl’s is a few blocks from the Grand Hyatt on 16th street and does a good brunch if you just want to walk somewhere. Also has a good tv setup and has anyways has good talent for waitresses/bartenders. Place was my go to after college.
Get a Tavernetta reservation for Friday night. Otherwise those brunch places and sports bar places mentioned are all solid.
What are your options. I love my google webpass but likely not available to you. I know Comcast sucks but I’ve heard century link is awful. At least with Comcast you can get xfiinity mobile, which is really good and affordable in comparison to T-Mobile or verizon
I have Xfinity, the internet is good but they're sleezeballs and it's expensive. You can get good deals but you've got to monitor your bill closely and I hate doing that so I get overcharged.
Go with whatever gets you the best one year of two year price. You can always bail and you’ll probably move
Are there breweries better suited to go to in the rain? In town and planning to hit some breweries tomorrow but weather is throwing a curveball.
Well the weather report was kinda off and today looks pretty good. Annoying because I decided against hiking and it looks like I could of
Im not as well versed as others on the brewery scene, but I’ve always enjoyed Our Mutual Friend. There are 5-6 other breweries right in that vicinity as well.
Ya, you could definitely hop around the breweries in RiNo. And hit up great divide. I’ve heard Woods Boss is great. also a lot of good brewery hopping opportunities in south Broadway. Favorite brewery in town is new terrain but that’s in Golden. Awesome view of the tables
Heading west tomorrow, staying over night around Omaha, and in Denver Monday afternoon My place has CenturyLink fiber already set up and waiting activation, so I'm starting off in a good mood about this
Missouri is worse than Kansas imhv. Once you drive through St. Louis, it is awful until KC. At least you can drive 80 in Kansas, they have a lot of cows to look at, and wind farms.
I got an emergency alert that Englewood detected E. Coli in drinking water so if you're in Englewood, you're supposed to boil your drinking water.
What months are the best/worst? When it's bad, indoors is your option if you fall in the sensitive group?
