I think it is just more of a live audience reaction than the overall fan. His entrance is what makes him and when you only get it 3 or 5 times a year, live crowds are going to pop for it.
weird. if Vince was going to love anyone from NXT on the main roster you'd think it would be them two.
Last year Io Shirai got a win over Sasha Banks in an amazing match. How did Vince let that happen? What happen last night is so confusing to me. I thought Vince would love Kross and Scarlett that’s his thing big muscle guys and hot blondes.
I think Vince stripped him down to see if he has it or if it was all smoke and mirrors with the entrance and Scarlett. Looks like Adam Cole was right.
this is the same Vince who built his empire off the backs of guys could barely work but who got by through smoke and mirrors, gimmicks, and other carny shit? Old Vince would have gimmicked him the fuck up and hid him as much as possible. Old man's gone soft.
Am I misremembering or was Nikki some kind of feral girl character when she first came over?? Now she's female Shane Helms. Weird.
No!!!! Signs of disfunction within The Way. They’re going to break them up soon EDIT: Xia Li injured. Might be broken ribs
Breaking up the way and having jobber Kross and fake ass chyna as champs. They just want me to quit watching.
I just remember her and Alexa being BFFs or something and me just hoping they would start kissing in the ring
NXT (hhh) has no say or probably control on how Vince treats guys who get called up. NXT has been the best product week to week since Mania that includes main roster and aew. Don't let what they do to Kross impact your enjoyment of NXT. Gonzalez is no worse as a champion than Rhea. Both are essentially the same character telling the same story. I agree its probably time to make a change and have a fresh face as champion.
Frankie is being built up but she's clearly a heel. Dakota is laying the hints for a turn. So maybe they do Frankie vs Raquel at SummerSlam with Dakota costing Raquel. Ember is also now getting the singles push but not really over enough
Lol Vince removed Charlottes NXT title win from her title total. He must actually despise NXT https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sp...removes-three-titles-charlotte-flair-s-record
Based on what? Nothing is announced. I'm not being a hater, as I've enjoyed NXT quite a bit lately. It seems they've found their groove again. If Joe is cleared, Joe/Kross seems like a no brainer.
Fightful: CM Punk in talks for in-ring return One of the biggest stars of wrestling in this century could be headed back to wrestling, if all goes well. CM Punk has been in ongoing talks for a return, sources tell Fightful. Fightful Select learned last week that CM Punk has been in talks to make a return to pro wrestling as an in-ring performer, with sources indicating that AEW is the most likely landing point. We have no confirmation of a contract officially being signed, a timetable, a set return date, or any creative plans, only that Punk and a company official have had ongoing conversations about an in-ring return. As with any negotiations, nothing is ever fully confirmed until the deal is actually done and the subject appears on screen. We have heard of other companies having interest in Punk coming in to work after fans returned, but have not heard of any specific offers or overtures made towards him. Fightful has not officially confirmed this report with CM Punk himself or All Elite Wrestling officials. We have been told in recent days that higher ups in WWE believe that Punk is headed to AEW. Punk last wrestled in January 2014 for WWE, and was released later that year. In the years that followed, he pursued a career in mixed martial arts in the UFC, where he officially has an 0-1 record with 1 no contest. In addition to MMA, Punk has worked in commentary roles within the sport, and made his way into acting. He also appeared on WWE Backstage for approximately six months. Aside from his appearances on Backstage, he's only made two appearances in wrestling since leaving WWE -- both in very anonymous masked roles on the independent circuit Source: Fightful
I don't know what kind of condition his body is in, but I do know he can talk, so even if he just shows up and cuts promos, only wrestling once a month or so, that'd still be a big deal, imo. On the other hand, there's a laundry list of matches people would salivate over.
Am I the only one that doesn’t give a fuck about Punk returning? He is very talented and everything but his shenanigans since like talking shit about the industry and thinking he was an MMA fighter just makes me not care
Guy quit a super lucrative job to pursue his passions. He did what 99% of people wish they could do. I'm not going to hold it against him.
I was a massive Punk fan back when I was in HS (namely his ROH run). He still entertained me when he got to WWE, but I found his act outside the ring tiresome as time wore on. I will say that over the last year he’s won me back over by being a jackass, so I’m down for his return.
Punk is meh to me at this point but I think would be big for ratings for them. One of guys who could actually move the needle. Aew has added guys likely who can make the product better but not sure any who could move the needle on ratings. Punk could do that
Get Dakota the belt and have her and Candace have a 6 month war like Sasha and bayley use to have. Both of those two deserve their chance at the top.
I feel like it’s too soon to have Dakota turn on Raquel though. Also don’t know if I like Raquel as a face in that potential rivalry.
I think her push was way to soon. She's very limited as a character. The turn would at least build some of that up if done correctly
