Lets hash this shit out right now. We will allow the horns down sign in exchange for never having to chant SEC
We fired Long and he didn’t cover up a bunch of rapes. I’ve already addressed Kendal solid whataboutism though
It’s not whataboutism. It’s pretty foolish on your part to act like UA is above having a scandal or two.
We’ve had plenty of scandals. The difference is we cut ties to the coaches and admins involved. No one at LSU gives a shit, and neither did Baylor
the B1G already has the market with NU and so does the SEC with mizzou. also it’s a very small market. no one cares about basketball that’s why UCONN isn’t in a P5
this is just a horrific application of this meme. it’s not at all correct needed to use the anakin/padme meme embarrassing
Baylor getting left with nowhere to go would make all of this worth it (assuming we find a home somewhere )
After A&M, there probably isn't a bigger winner than LSU in terms of enjoying their conference advantage over UT. Easily could be a no.
Say the SEC can’t get the votes. The Big Ten’s deal expires in 2024, so why couldn’t OU and UT whore themselves in that direction? That would be a massive coup heading into negotiations.
we’d all be in some kind of P12/B12 mashup or the MWC. and who fucking cares. college football is a very stupid rigged sport and none of us have a shot at a championship anyway
While it’s unlikely ESPN gets involved any further with the Big Ten, I wouldn’t write it off entirely.
Once BIG went to Fox and immediately bumped the Big 12 from all the good game slots (see big nude Saturday) the writing was kind of on the wall.
Better analogy would be if you saw your little brother get an ice cream cone and you decided you wanted one, too
Don't get me wrong, I understand why A&M doesn't want to lose their biggest recruiting advantage, the chant they can do after they lose to Alabama, but I honestly don't see anyone else being against it. The TV revenue would be astronomical, especially with Fox losing 2 of its biggest draws. It lines up a few of the legacy rivalries in the East and adds TX/AR in the West.
OU joining the SEC is not in the best interest of the football program. At least until Saban is done.
Yeah im sure ESPN is all about this. They can get out from under the albatross of the LHN and yoink FOX's 2 biggest brands.
