Playing and streaming Raji from Gamepass it is a top down 3rd person action platformer centered around Hindu mythology. I've really enjoyed it and visually it's beautiful, but technically it can be buggy and not being able to change the camera makes platformering stupid sometimes. Overall I've enjoyed it and had some great stupid moments. If you like indie games or mythology it is worth a playthrough
This seems like a cool little idea. simple small game. Basically you are stuck in the same 12 minute loop until you figure it out. Interactive thriller. Comes out next month
I will straight up tell you that you are missing out. I've played some absolute gems through gamepass
This. Not just the great games that weren't AAA titles, but the AAA titles that occasionally pop up there.
I'm so happy that there's a ton coming down the pipe. WZ, The Show, and a few others are just... stale
What do you like to play it is such a broad spectrum. One's I've really enjoyed lately Inside, Octopath Traveler, Narita Boy( my favorite to stream) , Like a Dragon: Yakuza , Slay the Spire
Slay the spire is really a top 10 all time game for me. I know it sounds ridiculous but it never gets old and I enjoy it every single time I play it
Not usually a platform kinda guy, but Raji is beautiful and so is Ori. Nice little change of pace from the sports and RPGs I usually play
Heard great things about Slay the Spire - never downloaded it. Guess I need to do that ASAP. Played Ori...got frustrated by the amount of backtracking. Ended up getting stuck in one area and couldn't figure out how to progress so I uninstalled it. It was a really well-made game though. Other GP recs? Gang Beasts, Tropico 6, UFC 4, Limbo, Forza Horizon 4, Nier Automata, Second Extinction, Outriders, A Way Out, Control, any Dishonored game, any Final Fantasy...I could go on
I kept forgetting I have Game Pass, went to the page a week or two ago and dl'd GTA V for Meatball and NBA2K21 for me
plan on downloading and flying some tonight. I’ve never tried one, but just seems like a cool way to relax
It's absolutely gorgeous. Enjoyed playing it for about an hour yesterday. It IS a simulator though...so it is not like holding on to your seat fun. I think I am gonna knock out like one of the pieces of training a day.
Can’t find an X anywhere. Shit is bonkers. Anyone have opinion on X vs S? The S seems to be in stock a few diff places. I really just want to play flight sim
I had this dilemma myself. I wanted an X but no chance I was spending 840 for one. I picked up the S yesterday, it’s an incredible deal at 300. I watched a couple of videos on the differences.
I have an S and I love it, but I'm not one who goes nuts about having top of the line specs. I also don't bother buying physical media, whether it's games or movies/TV, and I search with Bing and earn enough points to get free Game Pass subs every month, so I'm exactly the target demographic. The only thing it needed was extra storage but that's remedied with a basic 2TB HDD I plugged into it. The only issue with that is it has to run games that are "optimized for X/S" from the internal memory, so I'm limited to what I can keep there. Other than that, no complaints at all. Love it.
digital foundry did a good piece on the X/S differences with Flight Simulator: cliffs: there are sacrifices made to run on the S, but the devs took the time to implement features to make it look as good as possible. I have it on the S and it's amazing.
I have an S and an X. To me there is such a big difference tbh. X looks way better and loads way faster. X feels like next gen, the S feels the same as the one X. However, I wouldn’t spend pay over $500 for the X either.
So I have an XBox One X literally just sitting here. Anyone have kids or need one? Down to get rid of it for pretty cheap to the right fam.
When it clicks for you on Flight Sim, it is pure bliss. I’m just using an Elite controller for now but I’m sitting in the living room the other night and line up a smooth approach into SeaTac. I call my wife frantically to come marvel at it and touch down exactly where I wanted to. “Would ya look at this landing?” and she’s just oblivious to the difficulty. I get her to go through the first few trainings then line her up on the same approach and now the plane is inverted as it hits the runway. Just spectacular stuff.
I've watched a handful of trailers/reviews on it...and they weren't as positive as you haha. They also commented on a lack of people on the servers and it was like a year or two ago when they said that.
That’s interesting cause the servers are so loaded rn you usually have to wait in a 30 min queue to play. it’s free to play, easy to learn, inventive gameplay, and very fun. Don’t think it’s going to win any awards but no complaints from me with what’s out there in FPS rn
