When did she join barstool?
Her contract obviously won’t be renewed, but just wondering how much longer she has. It’s getting uncomfortable at how much the entire doesn’t doesn’t like her

 

I am not sure. I know that not all hires will be home runs. But her and Liz are awful, do not understand the thought process with hiring either. They are not funny nor do they bring anything of substance to the table.

RnR always goes off without a hitch, what could go wrong with this? I’ll definitely be tuning in and will pray that Big Cat is in the booth.

barstool wants to stream it--it sounds like they're going to try to get into the live sports business.

i hope they actually spend some money on the production and dont expect all business pete to show up to arizona and have the game work out perfectly.

 

I kinda hope they don’t. The tech failures can make for some pretty good content.

They could throw a big NYE party in Tucson, have Foreplay host a big golf outing/celebrity match at Dove Mountain, and really make it a multi-day event.

Plus they respect the Husk in Tucson. We were down there for a wedding in 2019 and told them we wanted to watch Nebraska game. This is what we showed up

 

You’d think Arizona has a somewhat professional setup already that they use on game days for the in-stadium feed on the big screen or at least has a head start on what’s needed to support it. Where some of these random places RnR has been probably doesn’t.

I know I have been to some non-football Husker events where the game is on Big Ten Network but they use a local networks production truck/equipment and you’d never know.

 

that is how all unc baseball games are and i am assuming most everywhere else. they production and announcing stuff is all handled by the AD but its broadcast via the acc network with their branding. probably the same here

 

i see a lot of people are expecting barstool to not fuck this up.

WSD is so completely ridiculous you can’t help but love him. Really the entire crew is so much more likable than just about every person in nyc

They are about only barstool podcast I listen to anymore outside of Nick and KB. They produce great content and have a great flow between Eddie, Chief, Carl, and WSD whereas NY crew outside of a group are not entertaining.

 

IMO they do a good job of mixing the personalities. They all have their own “character” but seem to know when and how to use it the right way. Except for WSD but that’s what makes him funny, the fact he doesn’t ever turn it off.

 

It seems like in the NY crew there’s very few unique personalities anymore. Or they don’t know how to handle being “content” or whatever. At times you get like half the office sounding like they’re doing a bad impression of the Pres character.

Saw a post on Reddit and the guy brought up the fact that at this point she probably did it on purpose as she’s trying to play the “villain” all the time. I didn’t see her NBA stuff nor have I watched the episode she’s cheating in, but seems like a prime example of what I mentioned above about people not knowing how to manage being a character.
