Funnily enough the Dan Bailey that told Carlson to get fucked was an entirely different Dan Bailey with no connection to the namesake of the store. The store was like well this is awkward.
I feel like that was made to make whiteness sound shitty but guessing coming from texags they are celebrating it?
Where are the bullet points about egocentric victimhood on all topics, wearing sunglasses in trucks, and fear of large cities?
Yes. And it was taken down several months ago. https://www.theroot.com/african-american-museum-removes-apologizes-for-whitene-1844456781 This is what they were going for: https://nmaahc.si.edu/learn/talking-about-race/topics/whiteness
Them: I have no idea what that means, but once I learn how to spell it and look it up, I will be back to either thank you or fight you.
Lol at looking something up. The reaction is “That’s not a word, and if it is I’m mad at you for using it.” intellectual curiosity simply does not exist amongst these people.
doing things to stop death and illness is not the answer. Using a buzzword and ignoring it while our ICUs fill up is!
I’ve honestly never been angrier or more disappointed in our country. We have the most reprehensible, willingly fucking stupid people that have ever walked on this earth. Their ignorance and lack of empathy will directly lead to the death of someone each one of us loves if this is allowed to go the way they want it to go, if it hasn’t already. So much of this was completely preventable. We shouldn’t fucking be here. We shouldn’t be having kids who spend the first few years of life being ushered away from socialization and normalcy. We shouldn’t have elderly friends and family unwittingly exposed to caretakers that are biological terrorists. I am deeply appreciative of the outlet that TMB provides. I would be mentally unwell without you guys.
It’s insane how people think everything opening up without masks isn’t going to hurt business and schools. My wife had to email her boss again because of the potential covid exposure so that puts her back on 10 days leave of absence. So that’s twice now just this month. I don’t know but I bet all her coworkers have to do the same as well. It’s just going to keep snowballing
Trump endorsed a candidate who lost, then claimed victory because he endorsed her after her primary but before her eventual runoff defeat. Whole lotta assholes being mad at other assholes. U H8 2 c it https://www.axios.com/trump-team-bl...nic&utm_medium=socialshare&utm_source=twitter
i can’t believe it needs to be said but if your answer to anything is giving insurance companies more power you’re 100% wrong
Watched the Woodstock 99 doc on HBO this morning and I'm pretty sure that this was the moral of that story.
We all knew it was those god damn *checks notes* Ethiopians crossing our southern border..? holy shit, kim.
What if instead, the person’s Medicare coverage for COVID treatment was terminated if they were eligible and refused the vaccine?
Republican says he wasn’t involved in fatal crash despite motorcycle stuck to the front of his car I hate to stereotype them all, but Republicans across the country have garnered reputations for their lack of empathy towards humanity. However, one GOP official has allegedly taken it to the next level. A Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate is under investigation in connection with a fatal motor vehicle accident in which he claims he wasn’t involved … although a motorcycle was found stuck to the front of his car. Spoiler According to the Associated Press, Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate Charlie Gerow, who announced his candidacy last month, shared Friday that he is cooperating with police in an investigation into an accident during which a motorcyclist was killed. While Gerow claims he had no involvement, he apparently drove several miles with the motorcycle stuck to the front of his car, a witness told Spotlight PA. The witness, a highway construction worker, was working on the turnpike when he saw that a motorcycle was “sitting upright, with the side stuck into the front of the car.” He said he and his crew watched in disbelief as sparks flew from the car, which was traveling at a high rate of speed. "It was a big motorcycle, too. There were a bunch of sparks. And it was very loud," Nicholas Forgette, the witness, told Spotlight PA. As a result of the accident, the highway was closed for several hours. Forgette also told the outlet that he saw Gerow’s Mercedes pulled over by state police several miles down the road from where he first saw the car pass. He said Gerow was sitting on a guardrail, stone-faced and "kind of disconnected.” Pennsylvania state police officials have released little to no information about the incident outside of confirming a vehicle belonged to Gerow. The accident occurred Wednesday night, but how the crash happened has not yet been made public. According to a police news release, the victim—identified a 30-year-old Logan Carl Abbott—died as a result of multiple blunt impacts. Toxicology tests on the victim are pending. In a statement to the Associated Press, Gerow said he “looks forward to the State Police completing their investigation and is confident that the investigation will confirm that he was not the cause (of) the accident.” He did not comment on the motorcycle being stuck to his car or why he did not notice it while driving for several miles. According to the AP, Gerow’s gubernatorial campaign is his first statewide campaign after running unsuccessfully for Congress and the state legislature. Driving for miles without realizing he had a motorcycle attached to his grill is not a good look.
Whats the plan here? Just go along like everything is normal and hope somebody fumbles this case like Arkansas/Tennessee in 98?
this guy is the vice chairman of the American Conservative Union. He's going to get away with it. they almost always get away with it. Victim was (given this description, probably) a Republican... won't matter https://www.rocket-courier.com/articles/logan-carl-abbott/
Do you think it’s a fair statement that the MAGA crowd doesn’t really participate in mainstream American culture?
yes, we know I mean I was surrounded by wet and cold Tenner fans who were screaming and yelling about firing Fulmer to stadium was moving and I yet again experienced what Charlie Brown feels like
That’s tough to say when they are a majority of “mainstream” American culture (see: white). Patriotism? Taken over. Harley chugga chugga chugga? Been taken over. Freedom? Freedumbed.

I am 100% on board with more healthcare coverage. I’d like to see us go to a single payer, universal healthcare system with no private healthcare insurers, primarily because I don’t believe that people’s treatment should be decided based on a for-profit corp’s bottom line. Both of my parents died of preventable diseases, and they did everything their doctors asked them to do, but because of shitty healthcare coverage dictated by profits, they were either approved for treatments too late for them to be effective or their insurance company refused to pay for the diagnostic testing to find the source of their illness prior to it getting bad. My point is, if the government is going to insure people, as they do with Medicare, they need to follow professional health guidance. Otherwise you’re just giving them free reign to act irresponsibly and the rest of us pay for it twice- in public health and tax dollars. Imagine the guy who was recently interviewed after being on a ventilator and recovering from COVID getting reinfected and having to go back into the ICU again all because he didn’t want to get vaccinated because “iTs tHe gOmMeRmEnT’s AgEnDa!” That asshole will be taking an ICU bed away from someone who can’t get vaccinated (children, immunosuppressant, autoimmune disorders). That’s pretty bad. Now imagine he’s using Medicare to get that treatment. You good with the government paying tens of thousands from the tax base to treat a guy who doesn’t want the gov’t interfering with his “right to choose”?
We do this already and we don’t have universal healthcare. Universal healthcare saves money. That’s what we should be doing - not excluding people from the care they need. Period.
