Now that everyone has hopefully had a chance to calm down from the weekend it’s back to regularly scheduled shitposting. I honestly can’t decide which one I like the most between Bottas and Stroll.
Yooo I was unaware of these figures. Good on them for cashing in, not even counting the millions in endorsements.
So I was really enjoying this F1 game, then got to Monaco and now want to bang my head on the wall. I can barely get thru a lap
Its fun as shit just, stay away from Monaco. I started with Bahrain, got Pole and finished 1st, Imola started 11th finished 8th got into a racing incident with Sainz and cant even get thru a qualifying lap at Monaco.
Yeah the Alfa Romero deal removes Ferrari power to choose a driver in the seat. I don’t think either Alfa driver should lose his job, will be interesting how much longer Kimi wants to keep racing at this level
happen to be going to Austin the weekend of the US Grand Prix. Convinced the wife of going to the qualifying day on Saturday. Has anyone gone before and if so, did you enjoy it? We'd more than likely just buy GA tickets, looks like there's plenty of turns we'd be able to set up at or walk around.
I think they're also considering that weekend for the 3rd and final sprint qualifying. So Saturday could be a mini race instead of a the normal qualifying.
Was late to Qualifying. Lewis needing to play these games is pretty telling. British announcer telling the crowd to stop booing Lewis. Get fucked you bias fucks
And even the Perez non-start on his last lap isn’t so bad as he was like a second off Max for the previous qualifying rounds and then ended up fourth. On the softs, they might be able to catch the Mercedes cars on mediums early but will have to then let Perez run interference on Hamilton and Bottas to let Max get a lead enough to pit on a two stop strategy.
It’ll be interesting. Hungary is really hard to pass, and I would be more confident if Max was second. Bottas will be told not to fight Lewis and do everything he can to keep Verstappen at bay for a couple laps. If that happens, Max might have to work his tires too hard to catch up. Hopefully it’ll be fun with Mercedes and Red Bull on completely different strategies and locking out the top 4.
That pissed me off he did that and as an American sports fan it really caught me off guard. No announcer in any US sport would dare ever say anything like that to a crowd here unless they wanted to get booed themselves for the rest of time lol. Gotta hand it to the Dutch, they are all in on Max obviously and they've got his back in enormous numbers at all times.
Will be interesting to see what strategy RB goes with. I would imagine Max would attack as quickly as possible to get past Bottas. The more time it takes to pass the better for Lewis.
Another drag race between an F1 car and a couple (tuned & heavily modded) super cars. Pretty amazing what throwing ~$50K in mods at one of those super cars can do. I'm sure they'd be a nightmare to own and you could kill yourself with the quickness but damn. The F1 cars sound is just beautiful.
Non stop wheel spin for the Red Bull and AWD on the road cars mixed it up. I’m most impressed by the 6 cyl skyline keeping it close.
