In high school I saw Phil and Friends and Bob Dylan play the same show (each played a set). Perhaps the two worst musical voices to ever perform on the same stage of the same night.
They did not have those LEDs in Rogers. Must not have been able to do it up there idk. Shit was wild. I fully support Phish's transition to light show prog rock band though.
Im set. Just noticed people couldn’t give away tickets at Oak Mtn. and lots of fingers in the air here. Not surprising, but it stayed a tough ticket.
A Melt tonight would be awesome. Feel like tomorrow is Tweezer night. Gonna be a "don't miss a Sunday show" kinda time for sure now that they seem to be dialed in.
Anyone know how much tickets we’re going for before the show tonight? Nashville lawn are over $400 on Stubhub.
They were $300 online before show and I didn’t see a single ticket sold on the lot. Just lotsa fingers in the air. That said, first person I texted had an extra and I had others offered for tomorrow. So they’re there
Dunno if any of y'all are in or around Orland/Winter Park but the New Standard is throwing a Daze Between celebration of Jerry & the Dead over the next week. Streaming on Nugs and such. Tonight is Vince Herman, tomorrow is Joe Marcinek, couple of Dead cover bands, Brock Butler from PGroove with some guys from Guavatron and Former Champions on Thursday, and Nigel Ledford leading an Old & In The Way tribute on Saturday.
I catch so much flak for it, but he and the rest of PG are still my favorite. Are you gonna be at any of the shows this tour?
Played Black Jack with Brock Butler and Ivan Neville for like an hour on jam cruise. Brock was sideways and could barely talk. Ivan sucked down like 6 cranberry vodkas while playing and it didn’t even phase him.
PGroove could've really blown up around 2006 but I feel like Brock, as much as I love him and consider him a friend, held them back. I will say I'm extremely proud of what he's been doing to better himself though.
Trey’s tone/new guitar is fantastic. As is the new light rig. Very happy to see Trey sounding as good as he has
Really glad they played Piper on Sunday. My wife and I got a puppy recently that is partly named Piper, which is a name I chose based on the Phish song. Wife stayed home to watch pup while I went to Alpharetta with other friends yesterday. If they had played Piper while I was there and she was not… it would not have been great
