has anyone seen kodachrome saw it referenced in an article about how nice a guy sudekis is and thought it sounded interesting
Watching Heist on Netflix. The pappy shit is crazy. It’s fucking bourbon. Giving someone 15 years for fucking bourbon. JFC
How was the third Fear Street? I see it has better reviews than the first two (93% on RT) but I haven’t watched yet. edit: I see it now. my search for “fear” got me nothing.
Great question, there's a lot from that period available in the front of your local church hymnal. Some real 7 minute monotone bangers.
decided to binge Avatar: The Last Airbender. I always see it on lists for top shows of all time and I've been struggling to find stuff to watch lately. so far, pretty entertaining.
It gets surprisingly dark towards the end. It’s one of my favorites and hope they don’t screwup the live action. It’s also leaving Netflix at some point but I don’t know the date.
Just watched that one. Spoiler Entertaining but nothing tricky or clever about anything they did so really it was just interesting hearing the side of the story from all involved. Also he got sentenced to 15 yrs but only served 30 days so it's kind of unfair to just mention the former without mentioning the latter. Just started the one titled The Money Plane now.
to be fair I think I posted that before the end of the episode it was just a gut reaction to the sentence.
for sure. They have been losing membership. Guess They trying something extra to keep people to stay or join. But, yeah. They will eventually raise the price
well He-Man was a real hate watch... Spoiler I'd seen the complaints by the hardcore fans about how this was basically going to be a show about Teela and the typical sjw rants that came with it, which I took with a grain of salt because people tend to exaggerate even minor pushes of inclusivity nowadays, but holy hell this thing really was insufferable. Between basically every battle scene is some sappy narrative with secondary characters that tries to pull on the heart strings, only they've done nothing to build the characters beforehand and make us care about them so none of it lands. Teela in particular is entirely unlikeable, she has no personality except for contempt towards people who actually care about her because she wasn't let in on He-Man's identity, so obviously it's a joy following her around as the protagonist and not tiresome at all. People tune in to He-Man for two characters, and both of them were gone after the first episode until the very end, with He-Man/Adam "dying" for a second time, so I doubt he'll be involved much for part 2 as well. It would've been perfectly fine for Teela to have her own story arc on the side, in fact her struggle and eventual rise to acquire the title "Man at Arms" could've been a season long narrative with a good payoff, but instead they just plop that privilege on her in the very beginning with no backstory simply to have a more powerful female character for the sake of it. It's just completely transparent that their main intention behind the story is to hit a social checklist right out the gates instead of building towards making these characters as equals to their male counterparts with a compelling narrative. On the bright side though, I waited for the edible to peak before firing this up, and that first episode with the kick ass intro, followed by the sensory overload of characters and battles with great visuals and score was kind of blowing my mind. All downhill from there though.
I didn’t read anything before watching it so I was really not prepared for what this was going to be and it really annoyed me. I won’t be watching a season 2 if there is one
anyone seen Top Boy? drug & crime show set in East London. Initially a BBC show in ~2011, brought back by Netflix, exec produced by Maverick Carter and Drake. really fucking good.
