Not going to lie. It bothered me on a different level than the other angst inducing stuff. Also, the way he handled it was just ridiculous. Why would he take everything off so quickly and risk being seen?
Every single hotel guest is horrible except for Daddario’s character and maybe Quinn. And instead of being horrible human beings they’re just kind of pathetic. That said- fantastic show. also- didn’t realize the dude that plays Dillon is Tyler in euphoria.
Love this. Not sure who died but not convinced it is Rachel. Think the husband staring out the window at the box being loaded on a plane was a red herring. Think it might be the friend or the resort bus boy due to something that Olivia does out of jealousy.
This was my first thought too, but idk why they'd be putting his body on the plane considering he's a local.
Yeah, didn’t think about that. Rachel is just too obvious though. Can’t rule out Armond with his current trajectory either.
I mean it’s really good and really captivating. I’m normally not good with awkward or cringe TV/Movies but this show doesn’t beat you over the head with it.
If it's a set of new characters, then that's fine. But I hate the idea of a limited series randomly getting renewed which kills the idea of the limited series.
This last episode was the first time i felt bad. Everything else was a like a slow motion train wreck but at like 5 mph. I didn’t like Kai escalating like that. Hopefully next week fixes that. My
It’s possible to work at the hotel but not be from Hawaii…hence the body being returned to continental USA. If it was Rachel I feel like mommy would be there for Shane as moral support.
Now they're all pissed they have to live and work in Hawaii a little longer. How awful! * * I haven't actually seen or read where that's been said
I just caught up tonight, this show has been great. I could see it being Paula or Armond in the box. Rachel or Uncle Rico seem too obvious.
Of course she did. She is the vapid trophy wife and the douchebag white guy gets what he wants and can pay for. they came, they exploited, and ruined everyone else’s lives and then leave.
I took that totally differently. He was more and more angry and violent throughout the episode and then he kills the one guy he perseverated on the entire trip. Sure, he says it was self defense and he gets away with it- but that doesn’t surprise her because he’s rich and gets what he wants. And she’s the only one who knows that he hated armond. She’s not a vapid trophy- quite the opposite she’s deathly afraid of him now. She’s next if she doesn’t toe the lie in her mind. just my $0.02
I didn’t even consider that. I guess it’s possible, but regardless of the actual reason, either scenario just highlights his power.
I don’t know if she was necessarily saying she’ll be happy with him or just that she’ll be happy with whatever is next. This is probably just wishful thinking on my end.
Yeah I’m going to need someone smarter than me to explain what I’m missing with her going back to him. Wife says it’s just bad writing but I have to be missing something
She just sold out, for lack of a better term When she was talking through it w Belinda, and talking about the faustian bargain. She decided to go w the lifestyle he can provide and is trying to convince herself she'll be happy (she wont)
Some great fucking acting in this show. Daddario, Connie Britton, Steve Zahn, Murray Bartlett as Armond
I don’t think it’s bad writing at all. She weighed her privilege and realized that being trophy wife isn’t so bad. Nicole outlined her life perfectly in E2
