Weird question and doubt it’s available but is there a website that tracks some of the sports books’ lines that aren’t in Vegas? I was thinking about making the 15min drive to Iowa so I could bet some futures/totals in person rather than having pending bets in my account for the next 4-5 months. Just didn’t want to get there and see some of the lines were skewed for any “local” teams or something.
How many of those places actually do their own handicapping? The sportsbooks here use William Hill I think
Yeah I think the one here is William Hill, I figured they used the same lines to an extent but didn’t know how much local money/bias played a factor.
Should be fairly standardized nationally. It’s the local grey market online books that usually get skewed. You can check the odds on the app but will hill may make you be in state to view

Get a load of this. I woke up early this morning to catch a flight and saw three guys, who hadn’t bet on anything since the NBA draft, made live bets on a Japanese baseball game. They took ML, run line, total and team total. I’m like, what in the world happened? I did some digging and it turns out the live line quit refreshing around the sixth inning but was still available to take action. They were betting after knowing the result. I have no idea how they even knew to look for that game. I asked one guy and he said he got a text from a friend and then told his friends. Whatever. One guy told me he didn’t think I would notice… I just asked a buddy of mine what he thought and I think I’m going to make some adjustments where I won’t get burned again if something like it happens. They essentially cheated in my view. However, it’s kind of my responsibility so I decided to pay half. I had to share that with y’all. I’ve never had that happen before and hope it doesn’t happen again.

Basically on some apps like WH/Caesars and MGM, you can become eligible for promos in every state they operate, even if you already have an account in another state. Early leans with little to no research. I know Bowling Green is one of the bottom 10 teams in FBS but I can't not bet anyone getting 5+ TDs against Tenn. Illinois letdown? Already bet against them once so probably won't do it again. UTSA is a pretty solid team though. USC/SJSU over. 60 is a lot but I think SJSU gets at least 20+ here. Texas -8. Nothing other than gut feeling on this one. I might ride the Marshall train again this year.
