They are letting teams hack Cade. Considering how whistle happy this summer league is its weird he gets absolutely zero calls. Also these have to be Knicks home announcers right?
Also for those who didn't watch the game, they did an interview with Casey and the way he talked made it sure seem like Garza was in their plans this year. So I think he's going to make the 15 man roster
This seems a bit over the top, but it will probably turn into a thing at some point. I could see Joseph starting next to Cade if the Hayes combo doesn’t work.
I've been annoyed as well seeing Cade be #3 ballhandler when he's clearly better than other 2. May be easing him into the offense but especially with the way Lee and Killian have played, it's definitely been frustrating
The thing is we aren’t exactly running an offense in the summer league. Guys take a million shots. I can easily see this being a problem down the line, but three games in Vegas so far don’t have me sounding the alarm.
I've watched all the Magic games, and Jesus, Anthony makes them so much worse when he's on the court. He just hunts his shot like a G-league guy trying to get noticed.
Does espn always overblow summer league games? They did an article saying we should reevaluate Cades expectations after his 2nd summer league game...
Should we reevaluate our expectations for Spencer Littleson after his 17 point performance last night? Embrace debate.
He'll definitely be a "pick your spots" kind of guy. But his offensive game should be enough to carve out a role.
Playing against summer league centers he's been at best questionable on defensive end. Disaster in the first game. There is no way he could be on the court with some of the elite centers in the NBA. But he may have a role as a bench big who plays situational minutes because of his offense. That's an improvement from what I thought originally which was he wouldn't make the team
His outside game is much more developed than any of us had seen before from him, it’s been impressive.
Two years of seasoning in a tough Euro league would probably do him more good than two years at the end of the Piston's bench, but that's probably not a viable path.
2 way contract means he'll probably get plenty of G League time. I'd give Pickett a 2 way deal too the way he's played
Appears most big names haven't played last game or two. Think not worth an injury for guys who already have a roster spot
