It’s always the key, stop drinking and stay awake for a while getting hydrated. If you go straight to sleep you wake up completely dehydrated because you were passed out and not drinking water. Obviously after a few too manys the decision making is always clouded. i rarely do this well but I think that’s how you do it.
This and getting a decent amount of sleep. My issue is also not getting quality sleep after I’ve been drinking, usually wake up and just toss around the rest of the night
Put drinks next to bed too. I woke up with 5 partially drank G2s this morning, was drunk enough to think I needed 5 I guess
yeah, we are saying the same thing. If you go to sleep drunk and dehydrated you will toss and turn. If you take a couple hours to rehydrate before going to sleep it might be better…but obviously it’s not always possible
Had to drink a bunch of pedialyte this weekend to recover. There's basically no stopping a bad hangover once it has set in for me. I drink tons of water, pedialyte, eat lots of food, work out, etc. But that only mitigates it.
i used to do this and it was perfect, I am so out of shape now that I can’t even think about it when hungover. Being 39 doesn’t help but that’s an excuse
No chance. I basically ate like shit all day and napped it off. My body feels like absolute garbage now though.

rookie mistake, when hung over act like normal and people won’t notice too much. People don’t really care about you. It’s still a miserable time but you won’t feel completely useless.
Been on a bachelor party for the last 3 days. Had to get up and fly back today then drive 1.5 hrs home. Impressed that I cut the grass, went to the gym, and went to the store.
Got very drunk at the Royals game Saturday night, and decided at lunch yesterday I was going the hair of the dog route. Today can't be over soon enough.
6:30 and I’m still hurting bad from last night/week have to mow soon and hopefully world blows up before then
My wife worked 14 hours yesterday. I had the kids for 14 hours yesterday. I started drinking beers at about 4pm… …then I stopped after a few cause I didn’t want to be hungover. Look at me turning over a new leaf.
Guys pick a time for me it’s 10-1030 and don’t drink after that. Just drink water till you go y sleep. There is no reason to ever have a hangover especially when you know how to prevent them.
you shouldn’t because there is a point when it’s just empty calories because you’re not going to get any more drunk unless you drink a lot more beers or hard liquor. Drink water. Care about yourself
Woke up today after attending the chiefs game feeling very grateful I took PTO. Took my dog for a long ass walk, then got in a workout and ate a greasy ass late lunch with a beer. Just woke up from a 2 hour nap and feeling like I’m gonna make it.
Broke my 10 pm rule so here I am. Did a quick workout and it didn’t help. At least I don’t have to do anything except lay in the bed and watch football.
Got more drunk than I've been in years last night. Spent half the night on the bathroom floor, then slept on the couch until 1:00 PM. It was not a good time, and I hope to never do it again.
Was pretty hammered at 1:00 am, felt terrible until I had a cocktail with lunch. Now enjoying some wine and delaying the inevitable.
