Has there been any rumors of them cancelling? I know the city of Austin has a mask mandate for all public spaces now and not sure what requirements the festival is going to implement.
Lotta people sweating bullets w/ 2 biggest festivals still going (bonnaroo, acl) trying to pull this off. I think theyll follow Lollapalooza's lead and require vaccines / 72 hour negative tests On hte other hand, i think there's too much money and time invested to pull the plug now
Curious if they’ll go along with the public spaces mask mandate or not. I have no idea how that actually works.
Saw Nora and Lane 8 close out Day MVS festival in San Diego yesterday. First show back since March 2020.
Saw her at CRSSD in March 2020. Decent. Seemed like she stepped it up yesterday. Monolink live on Saturday was good. Had no clue what to expect.
As someone who lived in Tampa when this festival first started, it's pretty cool to see it grow over time.
Don't remember if I posted the initial announcement when Lockn decided to do 3 weekends this year with basically one band being featured/headlining each weekend. This weekend was JRAD and the first of the 3 weekends. Friday and Saturday got mostly rained out. Just complete disaster situation. Seems like they canceled prematurely Friday too. Think that definitely seals the festival's fate going forward. Doesn't sound like a refund either, unsurprisingly.
If there is one, what’s the go-to/preferred ticket resale site for concerts/sports? Is there an aggregator site?
Cash or Trade, though they're heavy towards jambands so the market may or may not be there depending on the fest/concert.
And the festival’s excuse doesn’t even seem to be true. https://www.capitol.tn.gov/Bills/112/Bill/SB0858.pdf
Wonderbus is this weekend in Columbus. Updated their covid policies Show proof of vaccination or a negative test within 72 hours and you get a special wristband and aren't required to wear a mask. If you don't have proof, no wristband, mask required
So I got a refund for bonnaroo last year when it got rescheduled… today I got a wristband in the mail for this years festival, but have no intention of going (and honestly have no idea if it’s active because it didn’t come with any papers or anything. Just the wrist band) anyone want to buy it?
Anyone go to Railbird? Was in Lexington over the weekend with no plans to attend, but convinced my wife and sister to scalp tickets and go see Billy Strings and MMJ. Water and beer lines were so long that I got outvoted and forced to leave. The only music we saw was The Black Pumas (while we were walking in). What a cluster fuck https://www.kentucky.com/entertainment/music-news-reviews/article253821913.html
Yes, Saturday was a bit of a shit show, but Sunday was way better. Free bottled water everywhere and much shorter/quicker moving lines. You should have stayed for Billy, he was amazing.
If they could somehow re-create Mr Burns’ softball team, this would be the greatest festival of all time
And I will fight anyone that puts Ozzie Smith and David Eckstein under the same label as Legend Blatant disrespect to the Wizard
It really does. I have family and friends over in Florida so I was looking to make a trip if the lineup was similar to the AZ one. Yaaa big no on that.
