Killy Me Please I just can't stop thinking about this. Seems like she got 7 gallons deep and something clicked that there was not only a problem, but one that required a call to you. I just need to know the progression of inner thoughts in reaching that point. Perhaps a tmb ama is the appropriate penalty for her actions
When I first moved to England in 2015 me and some of my Air Force friends set a blender on fire by plugging it into a 230V outlet using one of those cell phone/laptop universal plug converters. No margaritas were had that day.
My team deals with shit like this all the time with cross drop issues with diesel being dropped in unleaded or unleaded being dropped in diesel… or people like Mrs Killy just pumping the wrong shit. it’s usually a $1000-$3000 fix to drain the tank and fuel lines, sometimes replace spark plugs….and sometimes it causes significantly more damage and may result in a fuel engine repair, mostly because of this: had a fuel company drop unleaded in a diesel tank in TX one time a couple years ago and we had to replace a couple hundred diesel truck engines
Seems like it would be cheaper to just give you a hose and let you use those luscious lips to siphon it out
In a car, if starting was not attempted, it seems like just dropping the tank, draining, cleaning, and reinstalling would be sufficient. How does she do 7 gallons with the hose just in the lip of the input? Did diesel get everywhere?
I've asked her and she won't tell me. She's still stuck in PA with her mother. Again. I explicitly screamed. "TOW THE FUCKING CAR BACK HERE" and they didn't listen. The money doesn't fucking matter at this point. Being stuck in PA in a hotel for 2 days is just stupid and being that she does all my billing I'm totally fucking behind.
Have you thought about how she feels about the situation? If you had empathy for her little mess up you may be better off. “If you just understood the stress shes under with your MIL you would sympathize!”
oh yeah... the stress... of having me pay for all of this shit. theyre using the free rental that suburu offers and shopping.
I have to “just the tip” gas into my bike because of the auto cut off censors in a small tank; maybe she was just the tipping it.
My wife has been trying to get a prescription refill for a week before of Brexit shortages. She’s meeting her mom and sister at the beach tonight so she decided to try to get her pills again after lunch on her way to meet them. I got a text at 1:56pm that she forgot the pharmacy was closed until 2:00pm for lunch and so she’ll have to try again later. I reply that it’s only a 4 minute wait but she’s already left. I’m letting it go because she was already mad since she left an hour later than she wanted because her dumpster fire of a company kept “one more thing”ing her after she was supposed to have signed off.
i for one, appreciate her not bombarding the pharmacist after lunch break. I used to hate Sundays, we opened at 11 and I would 5 to ten people in line always
you can move to oregon where it’s law (in all large counties) that an attendant has to fill up the vehicle for you. and if she somehow manages to still fuck that up, we have some cliffs to push her off of
I can just see the cartoon bubble of her thinking "why don't they make these holes bigger? so annoying..."
I, for one, fucking hate pharmacy hours. The pharmacy at my doc’s office is open from 9-4 with an hour lunch break. No weekends.
where is that and how does one get that job. Why does your doctors office have a pharmacy? there is a lot to unpack here.
My wife just spent the last 3 hours calling people trying to give away over $200 of tickets to a concert tomorrow night because she is sick and I told her I am not taking her to that shit with the way things are going Tickets we bought 6 months ago just before they sold out As I am walking out the door to check the grill,, after she is so proud of herself for finding someone to take the tickets to a sold out concert, she tells me she saw one of our favorite bands is playing at Gruene Hall in early October and we should look into going
Steve Wariner You wanna go? Knowing who she said she gave them to, I bet the tickets go unused, and they are at will call under my name
I would estimate that like 75% of the things my GF does results in me asking myself “is she this dumb, or does she just not care?” A couple days ago she rushed over to Costco to get some huge fiddle-leaf fig. She’s terrible about buying plants and never watering them. Today she points out how she’s watering it, and I say maybe put it outside so the water doesn’t just drain onto the laminate floor. She acts like that’s a crazy thing to ask. Couple hours later I realize she just put this plant on top of a towel, so there’s been a soaking wet towel just sitting on the floor. I ask when she plans on getting some kind of pot. She’s now mad at me for asking that but at least said “fine I’ll go find a pot for it I guess”.
Yeah, that’s what she said. I think she actually did go to look for one yesterday but they didn’t have any. Honestly I don’t really care, I felt like my suggestion of watering it on the patio and bringing it back inside after a couple hours made sense, but I guess not. The towel just looks dumb then tack on the fact it was soaking wet just laying on the floor. I only get annoyed because she’ll act like my idea is completely insane then follows it up with that lol
Fwiw you only need to water FFLs once a week. Just put them by a window with a lot of sun and they will flourish
Its by our sliding door in the back, so should get some pretty good sun. Also, this makes me even more annoyed she acted like it would be a huge chore to open the door, set it outside, water it and bring it back in…..once a week (and after a week it’d somehow be my task anyways)
Cleaning out our storage and find this. Pretty confident she has entirely forgotten about it as we have now moved twice while this has been in the same tape enclosed cardboard box. Also, quite the watch collection she was hoarding.
Send her flowers, buy nice meals, get her bday/etc gifts with her own hoarded money lol Maybe sell a couple of watches and tell her they got lost :)
She’s obviously a spy and has multiple passports hidden as well. Each watch is set to a different time zone. Godspeed.
My wife doesn't even have a sister and I started needing a fan and smelling salts after just thinking about this situation.
she has moved out. So far I have mounted two TVs, installed a ring door bell, and hung countless decorations after help moving all her stuff.
Wanted to gift her one of the watches and see if she remembered - but then I run a heavy risk of her recalling her cash stockpile.
I didn't count it really - but I would estimate around 3-4k so pretty much exactly what I would have lost on her bar bet. Thanks Billy Bob and the entire state of Arkansas.
She had a brief stint - based on me not getting shit from her for anything I’ve posted or being shown something random from the board in a long time I have to assume she never logs on.
Gifted one of the watches after lunch - she immediately remembered the cash (which I had already moved). Told her I would let her know where it was if she beat me in darts - she did. We have fun out here. Long story short: I'm an asshole, but I try to keep it interesting.
One day I hope to have the disposable income that I too casually forget about thousands of dollars I have stored in a cardboard box.
