Meyer was an objectively great college football analyst imo. He certainly had revisionist history on stuff...like you can't really claim Joe Burrow when he was 3rd string behind Haskins and certainly JT Barrett...but overall he gave a level of insight that no one else on TV was doing
I'm sure most of it was intended as satire. I should probably bow out too as I haven't watched a second of that show in 10+ years. Just in hindsight it's easy for me to see how that kind of humor can lead someone down a road of libertarianism and/or white nationalism.
why don’t you take the creators of the show at their word when they came to the same conclusion about their show?
As popular as cartoons are you think they should just be ignored in terms of impact on what people believe?
You just asked a lit major to explain an entire genre of literature. You’ve doomed us all. We’re getting a 10 page response now. Thanks a lot.
I can’t believe people out there in 2021 don’t think South Park had a sizable (and arguably negative) impact on civic engagement and political alignment in the last two decades. There was a good tweet about how it made young millennials think that the only appropriate response to every major issue in the world was cool, detached cynicism. But hey that giant douche and turd sandwich episode sure was funny!
i don’t know what you want. I said I made a mistake and misunderstood the show’s intention. I literally admitted my mistake.
The anti-black black evangelical is an untapped market. Of course this greasy slob would be the one to feed off of it.
Why would they go to Fayetteville week 2 when Ohio State/Oregon is their marquee game? There’s enough Farva’s in and around Columbus to satisfy Clay’s racist appetite.
agree 100%. Please contact him via email, Twitter, insta & fax to let him know he should change his mind and not go to Fayetteville
An obese black man in his late 40s early 50s probably hits a bunch of medical markers, so of course the party pushing to provide healthcare is evil. Can he just get covid sand die already...
She's also getting a betting show on NFL Network. So she gets an acting gig and doubles her viewers for the same hosting work.
for all those who watch the morning shows, does anyone on TMB actually tune into BIG Noon over ESPN Gameday? There has to be some rust belt boomer on here
I haven’t watched it in nearly a decade but I put College Gameday on as an indicator to my wife that college football is starting. Kind of a Pavlov’s dog thing.
My son comes over at 630 and we watch college game day. If it wasn’t for him coming over I probably wouldn’t watch anything. It lets my two youngest and wife know CFB is back. Lol
