Spoiler okay finished the episode, I kinda thought you guys were exaggerating on Lexis craziness but wow she came unhinged there at the end. She gone
Spoiler I bet Matt comes back. I think he's temperamental, but getting rid of Lexi will probably make him stay. I think they'll all understand his position a little better after they've seen her true colors.
Me Episode 1: "Sydney is probably the most attractive girl on the boat" Me Episode 12: "Sydney is probably the least attractive girl on the boat"
This week’s (Peacock) Below Deck Med: Spoiler At this point I just refuse to believe Lexi isn’t just playing it up for the cameras. There’s no way a person as shitty as her really exists IRL. I’m glad Z confirmed the Afrikaans statement was derogatory. There really wasn’t any other way to interpret it considering the circumstances and how weirdly specific of an insult it was (at least to someone who was completely unfamiliar with the term). Sandy had no choice but to bring dipshit Matt back for that charter IMO Also god bless David. Watching him awkwardly attempt to shoot his shot at Malia is truly uncomfortable for me to watch
Spoiler: Spoiler Lexi not getting fired is utter trash and a bad look for Sandy. I understand we have the benefit of actually having seen it happen, but she 100% should be listening to her 2 managers. To have them come back to her after having tried to resolve it and then Sandy still shoot it down, oof. Oddly feel like theres a chance Matt sticks around after this charter? He seemed to be in the "next time on..." shots. However I didnt see Lexi in any of the shots. David is a gem, shooters shoot. I commend him trying and think he possibly could succeed.
Spoiler Giving Sandy the benefit of the doubt, she may not have fully appreciated the extent of Lexi's actions because Lexi got to her first. But, leaving her on the boat was definitely a bad call. She created a hostile work environment for everyone else on board. No one seemed to mention it at the meeting, but she became physically violent. Hell, she was the catalyst for Matt leaving before any of the other shit went down.
Spoiler Lexi getting to explain the night's events first plus getting to be there as Katie is explaining definitely influenced Sandy's view of what happened. But if Sandy isn't going to trust her 2 department heads when they're telling her multiple times that Lexi being shitty is effecting the whole crew then that's on Sandy.
I understand that Sandy didnt know really what happened, but agree on your last point. Both department heads were trying to tell her that Lexi went batshit and she wouldnt listen. Also, completely the wrong move to allow Lexi to stay for that conversation with Katie. She was trying to have an honest conversation about what happened and then you let Lexi join, awful position to put Katie in.
I said the same thing to my wife, 100% some form of shady shit. Spoiler her leaving a shitty tip was amazing after being a pain in their ass
Oh absolutely. Whether it’s a pyramid scheme or a consulting scam, there’s something very fishy with that whole company.
She was at the table. All that mattered. I’m honestly shocked that she didn’t meltdown when breakfast the next day started without her.
Spoiler looks like this is finally the end for Lexi. Anytime she isn't on service, she throws an absolute fit and sucks at her job. You are a stewardess on a yacht, not one of the guests, get over yourself
Spoiler Feel like Katie was pretty open at the start of the season that they would rotate. I feel like even Katie has done some of the shittier jobs at times. Lexie melting down was enjoyable to watch, she is just awful. I am curious where it goes once she is gone as the rest of the case is sort of normal and nice people. Granted, its sort of refreshing to watch them all get along, spend the time shitting on the guests instead lol
Spoiler Lexi is a prime reality tv villain. I'd be surprised if she actually does get the boot. But at the same time I'd be livid as a crew member if Sandy really does bring on another person without firing someone since they'll be taking away tip money from me.
Spoiler the rotation is definitely something different than I've seen on the show before, but I'm sure it's not uncommon in the industry. The issue seems to be that Lexi thinks she should be the centerpiece of service and that nobody is better at pouring a glass of champagne during dinner service than her. I've never seen the show run a 4 stew system. So somebody is almost certainly getting fired.
These guests are gross. Saying things like "water is for quitters" and not being a college freshman is so cringey
Spoiler Has Lexi been on any of the WWHLs? I'd be curious to hear her feedback on her behavior, it is pretty impossible to defend. I am sure she will play the dad dying card. Reunion should be good.
lala on s8: "I watched it and I couldn’t even get through an episode,” she said, noting there were too many new people. I may not watch this season
not surprised Francesca isn't back. She did a good job, but she got unfairly dragged on social media.
Spoiler In addition to just being plain annoying, she said Katie “twied to intimidate [her] into quitting,” which was not at all what happened. Sure, she’s not as bad as Lexi — the worst person in Bravo’s stable — but she still suuucks.
Agree with you on this, the problem in this entire situation is 100% Lexi. She sucks and seems to be incredibly lazy, so much so that Delaney has to do the parts of her job she won't. I also enjoy the fact the entire crew is blaming Lexi for the whole fiasco.
