I believe Harrison is in fact the worst city in America. There was a billboard for WhitePowerRadio.com
Little Rock for food, I would recommend Petit and Keet or Cypress Social. They're more upper end and good atmosphere. Mid range price place would be Local lime or Ciao Baci.
I selfishly gotta throw Trio’s in the mix in Little Rock. The food is incredible and it’s a small privately owned restaurant. The owner Capi is fantastic and is doing a lot for Little Rock.
I was thinking about mentioning trios but you can never tell if they'll be open when the poster comes through. Capi is one of the brightest owners in LR and won't hesitate to shut down if covid gets really bad soon.
Yeah it’s awesome, owners are awesome too. For upper scale places The Hive was my favorite. Wife’s was Preacher’s Son as she is gluten free but that was hit or miss for me. Yeyos was another one we both loved.
I’m staying in Rogers for a game this year, might have to go check it out. The la foster and la elvis made my dick move a little
One of my favorite spots to eat in NWA was Williams soul food up in Rogers. Their wings are insaaaaane
A ton has changed in 10 years. Bentonville has doubled in size and Rogers almost has too, and Bentonville has added a ton of awesome restaurants
Where do most of you hogs live I haven’t been to Little Rock since a chess tournament in 92’ when I was 7 needless to say I imagine things have changed
LR food scene overall is terrible but places I can recommend are Three Fold, The Fold, Root Cafe, At the Corner, Arthur’s and Cypress Social. That’s pretty much it, any other place can be ok or suck ass on any given night. Star of India is surprisingly serviceable Indian food though
btw, I’ve kind of neglected some fall camp updates. no real huge takeaways and we are scrimmaging tomorrow which should show us some more… but the biggest news is RB depth. Trelon Smith hasn’t practiced in over a week with turf toe, and true freshman stud AJ Green had missed the last week with what sounds like a concussion. He returned to do some drills today but obviously won’t play tomorrow. TJ Hammonds has been out a few days. Raheim Sanders is our first and second string RB, with a mix of Oglesby (small track guy) and Dominique Johnson behind him. Johnson was working with TE’s a week ago because of depth there and is a bigger back. Sanders is probably going to get a bunch of run in the opener. We’ve been keeping Burks and Catalon mostly out of team stuff to keep them healthy. Ketron Jackson has been working with the first team in Burks’ place. Defense is looking very good and DL has made a nice jump, but will believe it when I see the results. That unit has been horrendous for a few years. Need to get a pass rush badly and Marshall was the only sign of penetration we got last year period. LB’s, WR’s and secondary are def a strength. Stromberg returned to practice today and should be ready for opener from his knee sprain he suffered a couple weeks ago. OL, DL, and RB are big question marks. Little has looked good in the kicking game, but again I’ll believe it when I see it. me and blind dog max bet Arkansas over 5.5 wins so if we don’t get there, blame him.
If I had to live in AR, it would be NWA. I travel to Rogers and Fort Smith for work. XNA would need to be bigger and have more direct flights. Honestly, Denver is probably my next city to live in since I can work remote.
So apparently KJ was held to limited reps yesterday as a precaution and Malik took a bulk of the rest. Apparently the kid put on a show and had a 4 TD day. Pittman raved about him afterwards. With KJs size I am going to be shocked if he stays healthy the entire season. It’s encouraging to hear we have someone ready if KJ goes down for any amount of time.
