Stayed away from WHU because I think Europe is going to take a toll on them, but Benrahma looks like he a guy who could be essential at his price with this attack
Does Ødegaard assume the number 10 role now, with ESR moving to the left? Trying to figure out how this move impacts ESR from an FPL asset perspective.
ESR will play further forward when healthy. I do think Odegarrd will play some ten in the event ESR needs a breather or when he is hurt.
personally I think if the squad is ever completely healthy Odegaard will play centrally and ESR on the left, but with Partey injured now and eventually going to AFCON I could see Odegaard spending time in a deeper role as well with ESR ahead of him. they’re pretty different players even if they play the same position most of the time.
Well, in an ideal world you would want that and I don’t think you’re wrong to think it. However, old Mikel has other ideas and I couldn’t tell you the last time Arsenal “clicked” offensively in the league. Someone could point to a game here or there but it’s certainly nothing sustained. Both have had really great games, ESR more so offensively, but bottom line is just can’t see Arteta somehow unlocking anything. Hope I am wrong and if I am I’d still assume ESR more forward on the left, Ode covering further back on the right to compensate for one of the four RBs we have that Mikel seems to hate.
Get where youre coming from on all points. Really just about dumpster diving for cheap fantasy assets and that left side of Arsenal with Saka, Tierney and whomever they play centrally is sorta what Ive had my eye on. Arsenal being Arsenal has driven down their prices. And the rotation risks from European competition arent there. So it would be nice if Arteta came up with a first choice attack and allowed it to gel.
Swore I subbed Gilmour for Soucek before the deadline; left 8 pts on the bench. Not my best start, but this shit is a marathon not a sprint.
