He could revoke the license but like steamengine said it’s making him rich because he owns the publishing rights so I don’t see why he would.
One of the funniest things I’ve heard on the radio was a station playing Blurred Lines then immediately playing Got to Give It Up, thereby paying Marvin Gaye’s estate twice. Country radio doesn’t have the balls to do Wallen into Isbell’s Cover Me Up but they should. Id also love to hear Uptown Baby followed by Black Cow.
On the "great to be alive" live album he takes it a step farther and says "that mother fucking tea party said a change"
Speaking of Secret to a Happy Ending, Daylight and Easy on Yourself get forgotten but are quality Isbell tunes. Little Bonnie is also a great song from A Blessing and a Curse
He donated everything he's made from the song.... https://www.huffpost.com/entry/jaso...rgan-wallen-record_n_60245a10c5b6b295bc0432e8
I think this is my favorite track from the recent Futurebirds limited release. I’m also ready to publicly announce that I’m committing ‘Teamwork’ as a top 5 all-time personal favorite album. Please listen to this album and respect my decision.
My Broken Arm is my favorite track off of that one. They've had that track in the can forever, from back in The Interns days, but this version is so much better. Could fit right in on Hampton's Lullaby.
Until that last track and it was *chefs kiss* How many boys could they haul off this mountain Shoot full of holes, cuffed, and laid in the streets ‘Til we come in to town in a stark ravin anger Looking for answers and armed to the teeth 30 ought sixes, papaws old pistol How many, you reckon, would it be, four or five? Oh, would that be the start of a long, violent history Of tuckin our tails as we try to abide?
I'd have a really hard time ranking the three. Thank god for the live at the shoals theater album. What's your favorite Patterson song? I'd probably go Tornadoes.
the great car dealer war, sink hole, heathens, but overall tornadoes does tell a good story. Putting people on the moon too
Some others I love.. Living Bubba Let there be rock Why Henry drinks Righteous path And of course.. 18 wheels of love
Some people stop living long before they die work a dead end job just to scrape on by but i keep living just to bend that note in two and i can't die now! cause i got another show
Technically a co-write with Adam who sang it, but Late For Church is such an underrated Patterson/Truckers gem. Think pretty much every kid that grew up in a church-going family in the South can relate to it. Another underrated Patterson one is The Assassin, which Patterson put on his solo record but Jason’s voice does the lyrics better justice.
I forgot all about the dawes show. Has anyone been to the eastern? Even with a vaxxed requirement I'm a little freaked out by the idea of going to a concert. Also can't remember which app I bought ticket on.
