I feel like the Evers family and the Florida staff are gonna be full: To Evan on ESD. Kid's put himself in an awkward position to go anywhere else other than UF at this point.
I mean, they’re really good friends. It’s not like the family is actively tagging a stranger in tweets.
That's my point though. The dad's referring to him as family, taking Evan on trips to Gainesville. Idk the truth to the rumors about them buying him shit, who knows, but it's clearly gonna be hard for him to be like "nah, I'm going to Texas or Bama" with his boy going to UF.
He's probably going to make a mini fortune off of NIL regardless of where he goes because of his social media following + status as a recruit. I think you're still missing my point about why they're making it hard for the kid to not go play ball with their son, though.
Didn’t he just name a different top 3 like…a week ago? And Michigan wasn’t in either? Webb has to be blowing this dad’s phone up
Nick Evers family tweets way too much, god forbid if he sucks at UF they'll take the baton whining about fans from shithead Marco Wilson's father.
Parents that get overly involved is never a good thing. We're dealing with a certain TE's dad this year... it's been a big distraction this fall when all the kid has to do is what every other guy on the team does, play one more year and be in the league making millions. They're used to walking in the principal's office/field house and demanding what they want when they want it for their son. This ain't high school ball, that shit doesn't fly.
I knew there were red flags when Nolen was calling Bama his leader earlier in the year and Andrew Bone was straight up saying “Nolen will not be signing with Bama.” That being said, he will probably go on somewhere and never be a problem at all and become an all-American.
billingsley’s dad was the same way during his recruitment, him being an issue should come as a surprise to nobody
Our insiders said the same from the jump, he seems like a walking red flag. Evan Stewart was another kid that they didn’t even sniff around.
Someone on our staff told Evan Stewart we were recruiting him to play football not Tik Tok. He didn't like it and eliminated UGA immediately.
Never heard a bad thing about Evan. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders from all accounts, he just has a huge social media following. When he dropped schools trying to sell him on NIL because of said following, I dropped my assumptions about the ego of a 17 year old with that type of "clout".
