Is Rickie popular on social Media these days? I know he still does tons of commercials but don't here much else about him.
I don’t think he’s been much of a social media guy for a while, 99% of the time I’ve seen anything posted by him it is very clearly sponsor driven. I’m just assuming there’s much more to the PIP formula that will still get him up there based on all his commercial spots
Got ya. I thought it was based on social media/fan interaction that way. I guess no one really knows with them not releasing the formula.
Which ones do you have. I’ve got a pair of the eco knits. They’re minimalist and really comfortable. Thinking of grabbing some that are waterproof though because they soak through if the grass is wet at all.
They did release everything that was going to be used to measure it, they just didn't give the exact formula or weight each component would have.
I am looking to see if I can get onto that course in October. When you played, did you have to play with a member or could you get sponsored through the Dormie Network without a sponsor present at date of play?
All the local golf package companies offer it as an option to book a tee time. And most of them have pretty reasonable pricing.
Golf Channel had a great feature on the 2019 Solheim Cup that was a good watch. Of course Sky Sports did it though and it’s all team Euro. Would think golf channel could do this for the fucking ones we win
Excellent, thank you. If you or anyone has a recommended company that you've worked with/had recommended, feel free to PM me.
Have never actually booked it, but was pricing some winter trips last year. If you book via the Talamore Golf Resort site, you can book Pine Needles, Mid Pines, and Dormie Club for discounted rates (with or without accommodation). The quote I got for those three courses was $298 per person without accommodation. So less than $100 per person per round. We were going to add that to a stay at the Carolina with rounds on #2 and #4. Trip didn’t work out, but I’d recommend going through Talamore Golf Resort for those prices. I imagine they’re not bad in the high season either.
Hell yeah is right!!! I know there's some crossover among fans of both F1 and the PGA on this board other than myself. Drive to Survive is amazing. If this is even half as good it'll be worth the watch.
There have been like five couples from my club that got into it and are hooked. Chicks love it. I am going to get into it this winter I think
Jump on board! It's a breath of fresh air to see how well everything about it is run compared to our American sports.
I hope they let Netflix do their thing and don't pull the plug on anything that makes one of their members less than gentlemanly
I don't care about F1 at all and love the show. If the golf version is even close to as good it will be appointment tv
thats pretty good for dormie. i booked through mid pines a few weeks ago and they said they couldn’t get us on dormie anymore
Don't know how many of you use ship sticks for your clubs. Fedex has been awful for us lately and lost 3 sets of clubs in the last couple weeks and had a few arrive 2 days late.
Given the logistics nightmare right now of half of the country is either on fire or under a flood, I think I would only trust checking clubs and keeping them with me. Shipping is about the same cost as a decent travel bag.
Rahm will get the same. That fence is not there in normal course play. They put it up for the tournament.
Talamore delivers breakfast every morning & has a regular evening pig pickin’ which is clutch. It’s easy to walk out of your condo for some late afternoon holes as well.
So question for playing Paiute for those who have. Is there a locker room there? Should I bring a second set of clothes to change in between rounds? I’m 7:59 wolf in the am and 2:27 sun in the pm. Apparently they throw in lunch.
Got 9 holes in at Streamsong before the rains came. Guess I’ll be back in a few weeks to use my rain check. Pro shop was making bank with everyone stranded there and killing time.
