There was so much stupidity in that episode. I absolutely would have taken annoying ass Sara Beth’s $5k. That was the dumbest shit ever
Like I said after week 1, this cast is awful. Someone on here disagreed at the time lol. Just no interesting people and they all are terrible.
That was me. This season has been great especially as someone who watches live feeds. The gameplay is the best we've seen since BB14.
I am not watching this season but still follow update accounts but it seems like people try to convince themselves the season is good bc they like the people. but being good people doesn’t translate into being entertaining the last good season was the first 40-50 days of BB20
I haven’t watched since week 2. Partially distractions/stuff going on. Partially the game itself sucking. I can’t get into watching people I like be boring.
I was so annoyed in the moment at that, but it then it did sort of kick off one of the dumbest 15 show minutes of decisions from one player that I've seen. His face when he realized he was going to get that dumbass prize when he could have taken $5k was pretty funny
These are some of the most boring people I’ve ever witnessed on TV and none of them are fun to root for. The gameplay is literally the same as every recent season. Big group taking out people not in group and everyone going along.
The cookout is going to end up running everything as soon as the numbers swing in their favor. Which won’t be long. So there’s no real hope in anything getting better the rest of the way
The have the numbers as of tonight. It's almost funny that nobody has realized that a PoC has yet to be in any real danger this season and that's because of the Cookout. By the time they realize it, it will be way too late.
At least the cookout is a more clever way to organize than what it's been for the last several years. I kind of like the pawn pairing idea
The Cookout is playing a similar game to The Brigade. The Brigade had each member get tight with other people so they always knew whose name was being thrown around. The initial team system kind of put The Cookout in a similar position by default.
I think this group of players is much more likable than the previous few seasons and also much, much better at playing the game. But we can agree to disagree.
X putting words to what I’ve been saying. Nobody will say out loud that there might an all POC alliance
As someone who just watches the tv episodes (don’t have the time/bandwidth to invest in the live feeds), Derek X seems to be slowly putting the Cookout together, or at least the concept of it. But I like the Cookout for two reasons a) the cultural aspect and b) that its gameplay is subtle instead of the big, overbearing alliances that have choked out the past few seasons. See X, Hannah and Tiffany as all being serious contenders to win. And thank god Britni is gone. Apparently she’s autistic, but the constant crying is terrible. It’s a game — get your shit together
Boring gameplay where the end result is known as soon as the HoH is crowned. Ex this is essentially a B2B HoH for Kyland.
Going under the radar as an alliance and getting your allies to do your dirty work seems like good gameplay to me.
Good gameplay is boring. Messy is entertaining. There’s a very very small sliver of the pie that is phenomenal gameplay which is must see tv.
See this is where I completely disagree. The feeds are great when people are scrambling to make stuff happen and flip the house. The feeds are worthless when the end result is known right after the hoa is complete.
Y’all are acting like this doesn’t happen EVERY. FUCKING. SEASON with a powerful alliance. And I’ll never understand coming in this thread EVERY. FUCKING. SEASON to shit on the show, yet continuing to watch. Just stop watching if it’s that terrible for you. The problem is the game itself, not the players. I’d much rather have these likable players than shitheads like Josh walking around the house banging on pots like a goddamn toddler.
Maybe because we remember when players like Dan gheesling could turn the game on it’s head at the drop of a hat. It made the feeds must watch. For the past 3+ seasons the game has been big alliance to jury, get rid of the rest and then see who comes out on top. There’s never any scrambling. The house doesn’t flip anymore. If BB wasn’t a summer show, it would probably be off of most of our viewing lists
I mean how many times has the vote flipped just by someone doing the work themselves. I mean the last one I can remember is when Vanessa was set to be backdoored and she was able to flip the votes to her side to stay. My issue with some of the previous seasons is that there has been a clear large alliance that everyone in the house had basically figured out an people were actively hurting their own alliance i.e Scotty leaving during Hayleighs HOH. Alliances are apart of BB but ones like the Cookout or the Brigade where you can fool side allies to actively hurt their own games are great feeds.
the CO has only won 1 veto and 3/7 HOHs, normally with big alliances they just win all the time and no one has the capital to stop them. I also much prefer good gameplay over messy gameplay.
If Sarah Beth gets out I'm fine with it -- she annoys the piss out of me (probably due to her voice).
Oh she absolutely sucks but I’m saying that we had a game flipping power available and get nothing out of it.
He's definitely already locked in 2nd place this season. No way anyone doesn't take him with them in the final two.
big D throwing a tantrum because he’s a have not for being out in the 1st 3. Don’t suck at every comp and you won’t always be a have not
Alyssa is a SRQ girl ,trying to get casted on Siesta Key would have probably been more fun and a path to get on The Challenge happy to see an AA winner but when the HGs obsess over what Stan Twitter wants it usually makes the gameplay not seem organic
