It's very odd to me how open everyone involved in that story on the Rams/Stafford side is about clear tampering. It's over and the Lions will never pursue anything because they don't care (and shouldn't), but if it had gotten to the point where Stafford was saying he'd only go there and the return wasn't what we got, I would have been annoyed.
it was right call to go for it, but awful call / execution. That wasn’t bad luck. He was getting stuffed even if he didn’t slip
Well all the Stafford haters must have been right, he leaves and we can actually seem to run the ball now. His poor run blocking must have been the problem
I'm starting to believe this entire Sewell conversation is about retired OL trying to tell people about how hard their job is by talking about the difficulties of switching from left to right. And if it's that difficult, isn't Decker going to have the same problem Sewell did?
I assume yes, but I think the idea now is that Sewell was Holmes investment so it’s more important he be comfortable than Decker.
If SF scripted their first 15 plays, I'm pretty sure they haven't gotten to #6 yet because the first 5 are working pretty well.
Our WR are perfect for Goff — they can’t separate downfield and Goff doesn’t want to bother throwing downfield anyway
