https://www.guideautoweb.com/en/articles/52396/ https://www.brabus.com/en/cars-for-sale.html I don’t know which one is his but it looks like that one for $875. His is custom matte green.
Literally parked next to one today while I was charging. Looks good. The range isn't that great though.
I've been installing these around Broward County. Businesses use it as an excuse to get you into their store. It's also part of cities/counties going "green". Right now it's in promotion phase so lots of free charging. Eventually you'll be paying a little bit more for these spots because you can park and charge at the same time.
You sound like you know a lot. What do you do and can you give more detail to your insight? For example, what do you mean by "they put in floaters that do some of the added EV content that would put the "base" jobs overcycle"
One of my friends just got one and an amazing lease deal through Volvo. You can turn your lease in after 5 months if you want and get no fee. They were looking for a car to buy and with the market the way it is, they weren't having much luck, so this worked out amazing for them. I wish I would have known about it when waiting on our Tesla. Instead we had to extend the Alfa. Sorry for spamming this thread with so many posts. Sometimes I don't have/make time to read TMB and get excited when I catch up to this thread.
I just traded my car in like a traditional trade and did 60-months. I imagine they would leave your balloon payment alone and take any trade value or money down off of the front end payment calculation. I’m looking around groups online to see if anyone has info.
So, order car online, deliver to local dealership, trade in car there? Or, go to dealer, order car, trade in? I could just call them, but I’d rather ask TMB lol.
The Ford online orders all flow through a dealer. You’re requesting it, and technically the dealer you pick places an order with your specs. Then they sell you the car like any other. What you really need to do is find a dealer that will offer Ford options and agree not to add a dealer markup. That’s been an issue. Dealers can, but people are finding dealers that will take the sale without ADM and ordering through them instead. Either way, you can trade the car there. If someone else offers you a better price you could sell it and pocket any proceeds or bring it as cash down. In my case we had two paid off cars. Traded one and took the whole value against the purchase price. Later sold our second to a dealer for cash because we’ve needed a second car about 3 hours total since the pandemic started.
I had an electrician come by and give me a quote on installing an EV charger. He said if I buy the wire, he'll run the wire and install it for $900. All he said was that I need to buy #4 wire. I figured, ok cool, until I realized there's more than just 4 gauge wire. Any clue on what I should get? I think this should be fine: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Southwi...anded-CU-SIMpull-THHN-Wire-20499099/204632882
What kind of outlet are you using? Most likely you will need 4 wires. You can use what you link and you will want 2 blacks for the hot, 1 white for the neutral, and one green for the ground.
He’s wiring a unit. I was given an EV charger today. 60A so it charges at 48A I believe. I need to be 85’ of three different types of wires ? He told me to get 255’. Said he’d supply the ground.
Is there a reason he wants you to buy the wire? He makes multiple trips to the Wire Store each week and could pick up exactly what he needs instead of letting you screw it up when we give bad advice. Not to mention he could recoup the cost of the wire at a markup for all his troubles.
Point of sale, removes manufacturer limit, incredibly high income limit, and has vehicle limits so something like model X and S are not eligible. So up to $12,000, and Tesla would be $7500 since they aren’t unionized.
Selling our first Model 3 with 25k miles for $1k more than what we paid for it. Picking up a second one next weekend.
This guy works for an electrical company, but was doing my house on the side. He said if I get wire "off the truck" it's marked up 2x and that would be an extra $500. I paid $1,500 total (someone gifted me this charger) and got my charger installed yesterday.
growing up on the east coast there used to be (probably some still exist) huge rest stops with 4-5 food options, gas, a convenience store, etc with lots of indoor and outdoor seating off the freeways. funny that they started dying for whatever reason and not 20 years later we might be swinging back towards that being the norm.
They're into Florida now. The first Florida store opened in February of this year. I thought I heard of them building or getting approval for one in Fort Lauderdale/Oakland Park/Pompano Beach area, but I can't find any info yet. But I saw one up in Daytona beach and was astonished by the size. They are the size of actual stores (Target, Publix) with massive parking lots and 5x more pumps than I've seen at any gas station.
Who was it who bought the mustang Mach e? I’ve mentioned it multiple times itt, but man I’ve been building and pricing them everyday. Really would like to see the size irl but everything else looks great
Idk what good reference points for you are, but if you let me know I can try and compare something that makes sense to you. It’s just a bit more roomy than our 17 Subaru Legacy sedan. Much bigger than our 15 Crosstrek. Back hatch space is probably a touch smaller than my Mom’s Equinox. We can fit 4 adults and a Brittax full size car seat with both front seats back. I’m 6’4 and can do a full leg stretch under the brake pedal, and putting foot to the gas pedal is comfortable. Shoulder and hip room is roomy at 350lb. I brought home a twin IKEA bed flat pack with no issues and plenty of room to spare. I barely use the frunk, but you could get a carry on suitcase plus some smaller stuff in there. Automatic pop button is coming for that. It feels much bigger than I thought it would. Might throw my golf bag in there later for a pic. Haven’t done that yet.
Is it on the explorer frame? We don’t need a giant suv as this will be my wife’s car to go to work and haul the kiddo around. She works and his daycare are within 2 miles of our house so it’s not like it’ll be making long commutes. I’m getting a new bronco go myself so that’ll be our larger suv
