I liked that video of him telling the trooper like if they force people to stay in the stands they will get hurt lol Yurachek was like heck yea we are paying that fine
To be fair the coaching staffs hand that shit off to the academic folks, the HC sure as hell isn't going to have anything to do with that.
Anyone got some strong gambling opinions on spreads with their team and their match-ups this weekend? I Put money on USC to cover +30.5 at UGA. This is the type of game USC excels at: no pressure, heavy underdogs. Also don’t think the UGA offense is complete enough with all their injuries to score that much without some costly USC turnovers (which hopefully shouldn’t happen, since our offense should be run, run, one read pass all game). In fact, I think the spread may get smaller as the week wears on. So I may call off my bet if it somehow decreases too much. Plus I can’t imagine any of the UGA players are taking this game seriously. They blew us out last year and we were not impressive against ECU.
Not that we are better overall. But our defense is. Don’t see you guys scoring 30+ unless our offense helps you. So I’m gambling that we’ll come to play and not help you…
Fair but you’ve got so many injuries in your passing game. And I also just don’t think this game is going to get UGA’s players full attention. You guys will def win comfortably. But I see this game being 34-24 pts out of UGA to 10-0 out of USC. Most of your points will come in the third. Most of our points will come in the fourth when you’ve got back ups in.
I would bet on UGA fwiw, but I do agree with Fabulousthundercock that USC players seem to find an extra gear when going against UGA every year
I can already envision the first series. USC DL swarms thinking they can get pressure. UGA OL picks it up. Stetson lofts a 75 yard teeder
What I gather from the discussion on this page is that USC fans feel pretty good about upsetting UGA.
I feel like most posters in here are pretty knowledgeable and reasonable of their teams. So this could be a decent opportunity for posters who gamble in here to get a feel for other games around the conference. My contribution is that USC has a decent chance to cover. We’re ass on offense, everyone knows UGA is going to beat us, but what you may not know is our defense has been playing well. Going to be hard for UGA to score 30+ more than us with our defense and their injury issues in the passing game. How do you feel about the Ole Miss covering -14 against Tulane?
My confusion was how you can (1) “call back” a bet, and (2) why you would do so if the line tightened. I’ve never known a book that would allow the former, and a tightening line is a good sign for you when you’ve bet the dog. Your line isn’t changing once you’ve made the bet. I personally rarely bet on OM games unless to emotionally hedge. I do think we cover this weekend. We’ve got a bye before Alabama, so I don’t see this as a trap game. Plus, Tulane is probably not as good as the bump they’ve gotten from playing OU tight.
Oh I’m not a huge gambler. Just started on draft kings. Second week so I didn’t know what would happen if the line shrunk. My rule for betting on the Gamecocks is to only bet if I think they’ll cover. If I don’t think they’ll cover, I won’t bet. Used to do parleys in college. But that wasn’t legal.
I want to put money on OM to cover, but I want to go back and watch some of their defense on YouTube first. Haven’t been able to watch any of their games this year, but I love Kiffin there and I think the west is more fun when y’all are good.
I may take South Carolina on the moneyline. The writing is on the wall. South Carolina is going to run for 350 yards and beat Georgia 24-20.
He's taken all the snaps thus far, but we expect to see Luke Doty this week. Great time to see your first live action of the year, at night between the hedges
I am pretty sure JT will be back Saturday. If not, it's Stetty B again. I'd also like to get Devonte Wyatt back on the DL.
Other than the move where he rushes straight upfield 6 yards behind the ball carrier or QB and makes himself a nonfactor in the play.
My favorite is when he's not rushing the passer and literally does nothing. Just stands up and gets moved out of the play.
