DAL Cowboys +3 at LAC DEN Broncos -6 at Jacksonville BUF Bills -3 at Miami Arkansas St +16½ at Washington Florida State +6 at Wake Forest I didn't intend to bet on five road teams when I started picking out some games but i guess that's what i ended up with. I think LAC's defense is possibly worse than Dallas' and I expect Dak and Zeke to have a big day. I don't think Lawrence has a fun day versus that Denver defense. And I just can't see Buffalo starting 0-2 on the year against two AFC teams. Washington has scored just 17 points all season and Arkansas State has put up 50 and 40 in their two games. I think UW wins but I don't think they can cover unless they really shut down this offense all game and don't turn the ball over. No idea what to expect with FSU-WF but think there's maybe some value in an 0-2 team with more talent than a 2-0 team who has beat up on two FCS teams. there are some intriguing O/Us that i may bet in the NFL closer to the weekend but i'm trying to keep my total bets to ~5/weekend
Allen has always put up huge numbers against Miami. Definitely betting his props. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/josh-allen-career-stats-vs-dolphins Josh Allen has a passer rating of 114.3 with 1,552 yards, 17 touchdowns and 4 interceptions in 6 games versus the Dolphins in his career. He is also 5-1 against them with his only loss coming on this dropped TD
on Reds over 4.5 runs today Also on Giants -1.5 over Padres (hoping to jinx this matchup, but Padres are running out a bullpen game)
I opened a barstool account for a risk free bet. It said for games this weekend so hopefully it counts tonight’s game. Took the under 40.5 fwiw
Combined Patrick Mahomes Passing Yards + Lamar Jackson Rushing Yards o365.5 -110 on DK Did a teaser NYG +9.5/u47
got on Padres over 5.5 halfway through the game. so my original baseball bets went 0-2, my live bets on those games went 2-0 gambling!
Just throwing a few hundred on the under. Should have had less beers and figured out the right way to do it tbh
Not everyone is comfortable throwing down 5k and then having to play through that bonus money. We don’t unit shame
Last SNF, I took Kupp to have two Touchdowns. He had one and also got tackled on the 1. mnf, I took jacobs to have two TDs. It hit today I have McLaurin two TDs. He already got his first. +1600 this bet is fun.
Anyone good at those DraftKings contest where you have $50k and build a lineup? Someone help me/point me towards a good resource please.
The short version: The more entries in a contest the more "out there" you have to be and you have to stack (ie Cousins+Thielen)
If you want any chance at a big prize you have to go a little off the board here. Be smart and go with a heavy-volume stack (Carr+Waller, Dalton+Robinson, etc)
If you are new to DFS, you should be able to filter contest by Beginner which I highly recommend. It will remove all contests entered by people who have won over a certain amount and played over a certain amount of contests. I don't remember the numbers for each but will make your competition much easier. From there, I'd play 50/50 contests. You can only double your money but will hep you learn how to build lineups that are in the top half of the field. If you go straight into GPPs (large contests, large payouts), you'll lose your money.
As far as advice, i follow a decent number of people on twitter but a lot of people want you to pay them. Reddit has an active DFS community and you'll get tips and conversations on line up structure. Fantasy Labs does a weekly break down I also read.
Anybody like anything on tonight’s games? UCF -7 at Louisville and total 67 Maryland -7 at Illinois and 61.5 total
