Oh yeah especially before you hit Affiliate I was at almost 700 followers before I hit Affiliate because I had so many long streams with no viewership the previous 30 days. You have to have at least 3 viewer average for a total of 30 days, or if you get a good jumpstart or just lucky/already have a following on anther platform you can hit Affiliate in 7 days which is the minimum number of days you must stream before you qualify.
yep i can feel myself doing that sometimes, concentrating more on the game than the chat, or even if chat isn't going heavy then I should be just talking more. its a totally different mindset from making YouTube videos, not that I am hugely experienced with that either, but there it makes more sense to concentrate on the game. YOu are absolutely right about Twitch, interaction more important than the game.
Problem with that is everybody else on twitch is streaming the same things, so you'll be buried in the directory. It's a challenge, I'm sure, to figure out where you want to be. WZ get's millions of viewers, but there's also thousands of streamers. Play a small indie game where not as many people are watching, but you'd be top of directory.
yeah, that's a good point too. There's a site that shows what is being watched by the most people with the fewest streamers, I'm going to have to check that out and see if any of those are ones that would work for me
I mean yeah that could work, but you also want to play a game you enjoy that you know because if you want to show you are enjoying it and having fun your chat will feed off of that.
Bought these last night https://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-wd_...nal-solid-state-drive/6425635.p?skuId=6425635 MHQJRH M.2 2280 SSD heatsink, Double-Sided Heat Sink, with Thermal Silicone pad for PC / PS5 M.2 PCIE NVMe SSD or M.2 SATA SSD
It's $50 off for the one without a heatsink. I think I read the ones with heatsink retail for like $100 more. That heatsink is compatible from what I read, and is only $17
this seems interesting but really doesn’t sound all that fun, it sounds like a lot of work and repetition
plays well and not as repetitive as I thought it was going be. My biggest gripe so far is the world. Very generic and each area in each location looks identical.
It’s not great, but good. AI is bad…. However the mystery is appealing and keeps me wanting to keep at it. I would say 7.5/10 so far. I’m early in though
I just watched the Deathloop review posted in here and I went to download/preload it to my PS5 and it won't let me purchase online right now. Something up?
for those that ordered thru Walmart, do I need to prepare myself for disappointment? can this legitimately arrive tomorrow? order placed 8/25 fwiw
I use a 4 TB SSD I used on the PS4 on my PS5 and haven't really had any issues. I don't think I have any of my PS5 games saved onto it though, so that's probably why I haven't noticed yet.
This is my fear. I just got done playing Divinity 2 and it was so much reading. Most decisions you make have a cause/effect, and towards the end I found myself just clicking. I really have a focus issue.
That’s what’s killing me. It’s super fun but I’m just reading and digesting because it feels like I’m fucking up if I don’t. I just don’t know how long I can sustain this
If you are using it as an external just to play PS4 games then yeah it will work fine. But it has to be a NVME drive to be installed into the PS5 and run PS5 games.
m.2 will load wayyyy quicker than your external, husker. But, external will obviously get the job done.
I don’t feel just like her but I feel like I know these characters intimately. It’s really a story, world and characters I’m entirely invested in and I’m really grateful they made the game so much fun
Imagine being somebody who’s been working on it for years. She admitted she’s been there less than a year and it made her emotional. Those who’ve been working on it from the beginning must feel so much accomplishment, as they all should! Really excited for that game.
Absolutely. The characters are so well fleshed out. I don't even want to fight Freya because I feel where she's coming from.
Can't imagine a game like Red Dead that takes almost a decade to make. Completely different topic but being a distiller always fascinated me because some of the product you are making you won't even be around for when it's ready. These 25 year plus barrels. Working on these long games has to feel a little like that.
Yeah she’s super hot and I just in general love her. Big hip hop and sneaker nerd who loves video games. Who also happens to be a smoke show
Cory Barlog tearing up watching the first metacritics score roll in with 100s and 95s on GoW's release in 2018.
That one was great. If you've ever watched the making of that game they put out you'll see how much he put into that game and how his life experiences at the time influenced things. Him becoming a father, etc. Was really cool.
I'm not reading much of it because i feel like staring at a screen is boring for anyone watching the stream, but yeah there is definitely a sense of overwhelming in the early game with the various systems and all it throws at you. The longer you play, the more you feel in control and understanding of what is going on, but I can see folks not loving it off the bat. And I agree, its not 10/10 material, i think 7 or 8 is very fair.
I’m not trying to say Deathloop isn’t good, I just think the investigation aspect of it makes it more of chore than it should be. If I find out this stuff doesn’t really matter I think it’s gonna piss me off pretty bad. I’ve come to really enjoy rogue lites of late because I can turn my brain off and just play. You learn through repetition and not books. I didn’t buy my PlayStation to play school
One Visionary Dead, Seven more to go. Let's Deathloop! Going live in 5 minutes from right now! twitch.tv/thatrescueguy
I'm going to eventually, its a little harder for me but I will figure out the right way to do it, at least on the weeks my son isn't with us. But yeah, I know I need to, probably a larger potential audience.
I think you have done a great job of informing on your Schedule what is upcoming. Don’t know if that was a Blazing suggestion but it’s much appreciated as a viewer.
thank you sir, appreciate the feedback and support, BlazingRebel has been a huge help and has informed me of the need for a set schedule and a lot of other things. I've definitely seen how being consistent with the schedule and making sure people know can help with other content creators so that is something I'll strive to do whenever possible.
