thats not how emergency authorization works. They didn’t approve it for adults without data just because there was a pandemic.
1 year old who may have covid or rsv. And all of daycare is sick. And they don't mix the kids together (7-10 kids per room. Rooms don't play together). But apparently kids from all over are sick It's OSU daycare so all the teachers are vaccinated and wear masks. Plus to get in, have to have at least 1 parent work for the university so at least 1 parent will be vaxxed
Thanks. He's sweating and has a Dr at 4. Wife sinuses starting to hurt but I'm fine. She always gets sick first so we'll see. Hopefully it's just a cold. We haven't been exposed to anyone with it. Thought it was hand, foot and mouth bc he started to get a rash, but he's the only one who has the rash smh
Yea my mom works in a childrens hospital and said they're not seeing a lot of covid hospitalizations but a ton of rsv
About Description Respiratory syncytial virus, also called human respiratory syncytial virus and human orthopneumovirus, is a very common, contagious virus that causes infections of the respiratory tract.
Haha thanks. He didn't wear it for the Maryland game and we lost. Wore it vs a D2 school and we won. Think he's to blame for our loss
Just following the science. The data isn’t there- Pfizer horsing it into Israelis isn’t a full trial. Right decision for now.
The way our healthcare system is set up, there’s a tremendous financial incentive for a company like Pfizer to get approved for boosters every 6 months. The FDA reviewing data is the only guard against an ineffective and cynical cash grab. It’s on Pfizer to provide data showing a benefit that justifies the expense and side effects.
So what the fuck does this mean? No one but the immunocompromised are going to be allowed boosters for the time being, or are they going to issue new guidance in the coming weeks? This is such a fucking shitshow with all the mixed messaging.
Just lost a close friend this morning. Was battling for 14 days, without medical intervention. Leaves behind a 17 and 9 year old sons. Shit suck
circling back to this... when you say "mild symptoms" I'm curious what that actually means... sounds like a crazy escalation
Basically. For the first week just had symptoms consistent with a sinus infection and no fever. Once the burning sensation in the nose started around day 10 it started going downhill. If you remind me later I’ll post screenshots of his Facebook updates, just need to make sure they are edited
My daughter had hand foot and mouth disease this summer. I was obviously exposed and never got a rash. Wouldn't rule it out.
Yea, he's so fair skinned it's hard to tell what he has. Hoping nothing too bad. He's sweating all the time which sucks
Hand foot and mouth probably preferable to RSV. Although it gave my kid a febrile seizure which was a fucking nightmare.
2.5 year old just had HFM and I had a mild case of it. Wife and other 2 daughters, nothing. HFM is all over right now. Daycare has multiple kids who had it too.
What is really very difficult to make out through the shitty screenshot is that the “tampon soaked in water and ivermectin, then shoved up your cooch” suggestion came FROM A FUCKING NURSE.
Our son got it all over his bottom and taint area. It was hand foot and mouth but he never got the rashes on hands/feet or mouth. It was miserable because every time we had to change him he was in horrible pain. It sucked. Neither my wife nor I got it though.
The Trump loving, anti-masker, mid-40s kindergarten teacher at my wife’s school caught Covid two weeks ago. Her husband said it didn’t change their minds about vaccines because “we’re Republicans so we don’t believe in them.” A little over a week ago the doctors recommended she be put on a ventilator because she couldn’t oxygenate, and the husband refused because “ventilators make you sicker.” Over the weekend the husband told another co-worker to quit calling or texting because he’s update people when he thought it was necessary. Now the woman got put on a ventilator yesterday. Good work all around!
About the ventilator only. More than a week after it was initially recommended. My guess is the next update involves a GoFundMe link.
“We’re Republicans so we don’t believe in vaccines” Guaranteed he and his family all have had many vaccines
i'm sure there was some news that was reported and im sure it's real, but trying to understand the FDA and the context they are coming from from a short tweet with no link is useless. lets see quotes.
