Could she have a breakthrough case of schizo and just ran off? I mean they happen around her age often.
yeah was just about to point that out. Least of anyone's worries, but after watching a few hours of Norm MacDonald clips over the past day I'm inclined to say that can't be good for business or employee morale
no it’s not the grammar, it’s just insensitive I don’t think you meant it that way though I just wouldn’t run around calling BPD schizo in the real world
So two people with anxiety and likely other mental disorders packed into a tiny van where they will travel, reside and sleep in remote areas having only one another as constant, inseparable companions. What could go wrong?!?!?
FWIW this incident occurred on the 12th, the couple were murdered on the 18th and Petito was confirmed in the SLC area from august 21-24
Sorry, the last night they were seen which according to Twitter (I know) was 2 blocks from the hotel he stayed at
Last Pod on the Left (which I probably pimp too much) only has done Jack the Ripper for unresolved, even then I think they made a compelling case for a suspect I found their JFK assassination analysis to be very compelling (it’s based on ballistic forensics) those are about the only two open ended cases they have done
the appetite for true crime content far outpaces our capacity to solve crimes we're very very bad at actually solving crimes
Im not sure, I was just reading the timeline and obviously because of this police report we know they were in the Moab area on the 12th Seemed the next confirmed location I saw was in SLC on the 21st when her dad ordered them Uber eats
And seemingly we at least communicate across state lines now, that shit wasn’t really happening into the 90’s
If I'm sitting down and having time to think about it I'd leave my phone and credit card in WY. Drive to another state and get rid of the body, drive back and report her missing and claim we had a huge fight and she left. Im sure this plan is flaud in some way but damn it's gotta give you a better shot than what he did.
if you aren't already, check out only murderers in the building on Hulu. it's a "true crime" comedy that satirizes true-crime podcasts/enthusiasts. steve martin and martin short with selena gomez
Is this instagram post still showing? I can't see Imgur. So I'll give a like to anyone that posts it if it's up.
The more I think about it, is his plan that bad? If they don't find a body and he never talks to police, he can't really dig himself a hole. Now they have to try and charge him without a body. And the longer it takes to find the body, the more it will decompose and evidence is lost. I know nothing about any of this stuff and don't listen to podcasts. But I did watch a Dateline 10 years ago.
All this shit is around the entrance to the national park. We knew they were killed there; everything is close to where they were killed.
I think that whole industry plays a huge part in the legitimate distrust of law enforcement so as far as I'm concerned they're doing God's work.
Thanks. She definnitely mentally off in the bottom half of that post to me. There's so many "I" and other comments where she seems off.
I know my timing is bad here and I don’t mean to speak ill of a potential victim… HOWEVA…. Holy shit she seems annoying as fuck in those posts.
I don't know man how many articles have you read about wrongful convictions because of shitty police work? I've read a ton (longforms mostly). How many pods have you listened to where they talk about law enforcement zeroing in on the wrong suspect? I've listened to an embarrassing amount of true crime stuff and shoddy policy work is very frequently a topic of conversation. I think it matters.
that movie is really good you should 100% watch it (its not even a huge twist with what people are talking about the try to frame your husband thing is essentially the whole movie)
