My best friends had a band that made it to #1 on rock radio countdowns in my part of the country. song brings back tons of nostalgia
It slapped hard. Might be the nostalgia talking but Creed gets more shit than they probably deserve. There were plenty of worse bands out there
I frickin loved grunge back in the day and added a few 90's classics to my Apple Music that I love popping up randomly This is one that I didn't remember loving in the 90s but delights me these days
Another 90s dude who gets shit on way more than he deserves is Pauly Shore. His movies are great and I will fight anyone who says otherwise.
I definitely had that album at the time and remember turning friends on to it, too. Connection was the most recognizable song on that album, and was also on The Hackers soundtrack (which was great, btw), but they have a lot of other great tracks on there as well. You can hear some punk influence in the bass. Also, their lead singer was the best female vocalist of the 90s imo. She was married to the lead singer of Blur for awhile.
Feels like this thread is about to shift to just shitting on bands people just said they liked. Big fan.
Then I get to join the "everyone shit on Oasis and laugh at Pelinis" party without fear of rattribution
No, Primus sucks. Speaking of 90s albums… “Grab yourself a can of pork soda You'll be feeling just fine Ain't nothin' quite like sittin' 'round the house Swillin' down them cans of swine” Also, Frizzle Fry if we’re going by release date
Little known secret Allman Brothers Band's two best albums are in the 90s. I think I don't know how to talk about 90s music
They’ve embraced the scene after Claypool’s solo stint and do some improv live…but they most certainly were not a jamband in the 90s
Oasis was great and the Gallagher brothers being giant shitheads who absolutely hate each other is funny.
