Did anyone watch Untold: Crime and Penalties? Total shit show, but really it’s a good documentary on the Danbury Trashers of the UHL.
Taking a chance he will develop but I like betting on kids like this. Continues to improve and can be a 60 point winger this year.
This thing is fucking amazing. Signing Brett Gretzky. All of it The mascot getting his phone wire tapped.
I loved the equipment manager sabotaging teams with shitty towels and no hot water. Also, AJ’s hype video for that game against Kalamazoo killed me.
AJ was on Seravelli’s podcast, where he said the guy he wanted most during the lockout was Sean Avery. He said they actually had a trade in place for him, and Avery was down to make the move, but AJ believes the UHL commissioner wouldn’t allow it to happen.
if he hangs them up there is a second line center spot ready for him in our beer league. No need to even show up for training camp(aka the exhibition game). The first line center spot is already taken by the guy that finds the replacements when some guys cancel so he can’t have that one
There's a bunch of interesting data he's posted today. I believe he said they're not home team tracked as well which historically has shown to be heavily biased. Some seem really obvious and others I wouldn't have expected at all. Spoiler Jesus, Makar. Seeing the *frequency of puck battles would be interesting here
At least they got the Ducks and Stars correct. They went from top tier and pretty good (North Stars great) to awful.
Blackhawks logo gets dinged for being racist. In the tweet thread he shows the voting break down, people either love or hate that one. Agreed on the Flames being too low, but I'm biased there.
very impressed with the vaccination numbers among NHL players. honestly expected the league to have a huge issue with anti-vax shit.
I know what youre saying. On the other hand - the hockey culture of being a team guy, dont go against the grain ect probably plays into it
Hockey players are sheltered and dumb in a lot of ways, but aren’t the anti-vax, do my own research type of dumb imo. Plus it’d be a huge pain in the ass with all of the Canadian travel each team has to do.
I’d say most American hockey players come from a right leaning background. I think that’d leave to a lot of anti vax sentiment for example seth jones’ mom retweeted this
I wouldn’t be surprised if Jones is one of the holdouts given he and his family’s online presence. But most players seem to be the privileged “no politics”/“taxes bad”/“respect the troops” type of right winger than the active conspiracy theorist, misinformation loving right winger. Excluding the known shit heads like Prust, Penner, Fleury
I don't know how it is up north, but down here the line between the two groups you described barely seems to exist anymore.
