Only thing that might factor is the stupidly priced SSD you plug into the back. But it's not necessary as you can just plug a standard USB Hard Drive into the machine
hes probably talking about the bundles, but those parts aren't necessary. Maybe an SSD but that's only if you can't/dont manage or rotate your storage handily.
12 minutes is free with game pass. Decent reviews and interesting concept. going to give it a run this weekend
Yeah, after I was able to read the full article it seemed like they were just saying if you want the best set up it would end up costing that much. This article ended up saying you need a 250+ dollar SSD/HD, but also included buying an extra controller and stuff lol The article was loading terribly on mobile at the time of my post finally went and read it on my computer.
Do most of you guys have the X? As someone who probably won't buy a new TV anytime soon (knock on wood) and really just wants to play some of the next gen games like Flight Simulator, I might try to hunt down the Series S soon. If anyone has any tips for actually getting one before the bots, I'm all ears.
I think I’m close to solving it. Game is little wonky and repetitive, but I keep wanting to figure it out.
I’ve gotten a decent ways into it, I’m really enjoying the concept but would agree on your assessment.
I've got an S. I got one fairly easily and didn't pay above retail price for it. I got it through Facebook Marketplace.
My brother is looking to upgrade my nephew. It’ll go in nephews bedroom where he doesn’t have a 4K tv. Is following Wario the best way to go still? And is going with the S instead of X a big mistake?
Yeah but if the tv isn’t 4K is it going to look much better? My brother has a PS5 on one of his 4K tvs but this one won’t likely be on a 4K tv for anytime in the foreseeable future
If they truly aren't going to buy a 4k TV in the next 3-5 years (or move it and plug into a 4ktv) then yes, just go with the S and save $200. As a reminder, he won't be able to play discs of any kind, as S doesn't have a disc drive.
right now I use the controller. I saw Turtle is making a flight thing but it’s like $350 not sure that is an appropriate solution. I would like to have some kind of joy stick.
The other day I found a YouTube channel that’s a livestream of some code automatically refreshing a few stores’ websites and shows their status. No luck the first couple days but just saw BestBuy had Series S in stock, rushed to their site and just ordered one. Claims it should be here next Tuesday.
How often do they typically remove games from Game Pass? With the Series S scheduled to show up tomorrow I was debating just doing Game Pass so I could play flight simulator and MLBTS without paying full price for both.
Sports games seem to stick around a long time, longer than they ought to. FIFA and Madden games from years ago just stick around.
I streamed it I've found most endings overall enjoyable very wonky though but makes for some hilarious bugs.
If you don't already have Game Pass, you can buy this 12 month xbox live gold for $50 and then convert it. Won't start billing until that 12 months is up. https://slickdeals.net/f/15285640-x...h-membership-us-digital-code-50-at-newegg?v=1
FYI you can stack those up to 3 years and convert them. I recently let my Game Pass lapse so I could do it. If anyone hasn't done that recently, just buy 2-3 of these, turn off auto-renew on your Game Pass if you're currently paying month to month, wait for it to lapse, redeem the 12 month Xbox Live Gold cards/codes, then convert to Game Pass Ultimate here. Have to let your Game Pass lapse though because it won't work with an active subscription. I did 2 years worth about a month ago. Paid I think $110 for the 2 12 month cards then $15 to convert it all to Game Pass Ultimate. So I paid around $125 for 2 years of Game Pass Ultimate (normal price being $360).
does it resemble diablo at all? i play it so i wasn’t sure if hades would be the same or what. i have a hard time committing to new games
This Battlefield 2042 delay (and apparent beta delay) is really fucking up my vibe. I'm tired of Slay the Spire, Hades, and MLB The Show. Been loving getting back into Rainbow Six: Siege. Thinking about beating The Outer Worlds or Cyberpunk. Just in a weird rut of games that I am super passionate about. Like sitting on the edge of my chair for Back 4 Blood.
can anyone recommend a racing wheel? I started playing f1 2021 and want to try it with a wheel. I'm def not getting a whole chair set up thing, just a wheel and pedals.
Roommate got me to try Destiny 2. Did the free version and bought some upgraded version. Not sure how I'm going to enjoy it as it just seems way too in-depth for how much I'm willing to invest into a game but am going to keep giving it a go.
