Oh hey #New Orleans Saints fans, we forgot to pass this along to you last year. You'll need to bookmark that one.
Hopefully this translates into a great season for him. The athletic ability is for sure there https://saintswire.usatoday.com/202...CpdlcFtjuBbR_UGE18rjDKmnhgzyuqKwNxB_7XcWvbz7U
Yep, Jones looked good and this is Kamaras team. Don’t need someone eating up cap just to give Kamara some rest. Good move
Crawley out with a hammy, Latt has a knee issue - if Adebo is our # 1, we're fucked. If it's Latt & Adebo I still don't like our chances but we have a chance.
so with winston the margin for error is so much bigger than it was with brees the last few years, the frequency of errors also, but you can survive a mistake without the drive stalling
Man just have to cut Davenport at this point. Has literally played less than 5 games/season in like 3 years. He's got talent, but can't stay on the field. I think we win by more than one score. Hope Roby gets some action in specific packages. How serious is Lattimore's injury? Glad we extended him, continue to say what the fuck is a salary cap?
I guess it makes sense (now) as to why we drafted Payton Turner in the first round. I get you always need depth on the defensive line, but more so for us it was our insurance plan for Davenport. Sean called such a conservative game last Sunday and I bet he does the same with a little more flair if the defense can hold up. We still haven’t seen this new Saints team play from behind.
IIRC the 5th year option for Davenport is fully guaranteed, so we have one more year of disappointment. He should be back in a few weeks after the bye… then we’ll see how many games we get. Latt had thumb surgery but is questionable this weekend. Hopefully they cast him up and he’s out there. may need Roby to play if CJGJ can’t go
We should win, but the Panthers have some weapons and some good young D players. If we can get the rush going on Darnold we should win by 10
line playing bad. Panthers just dominating time of possession, haven’t had a chance to get anything going
Jameis made some terrible throws but I’m much more concerned with how bad the OL played. D stopped sucking as much after the first few drives- and considering all the injuries it made sense. No reason for the OL to play so terribly.
Glad I missed the game missing more than half your staff and more than half your defense is not a recipe for success!
That was humiliating today. The defense actually played very well imo considering 1) the amount of injuries and 2) the offensive play or lack thereof. Jameis’ forced throws were so bad, and we desperately need a decent wide receiver out there. One positive - Payton Turner played very well.
honestly think 90% of the issue was the interior OL although there were also some just fucked up assigments, not always on things that looked all to exotic
Lattimore has played amazingly well. I'm surprised at how well Adebo has been playing also. Add Roby to the mix on the outside, CJGJ in the slot, Marcus & Malcomn at S and our DBs are really damn good.... pretty sure for the first time in my life the Saints can say that.
