Also what I will say about JJs is their bread is pretty good compared to many on this list. Particularly their sliced wheat. At a lot of sub chains you’re getting thawed bread out of the freezer.
There is no worse feeling than driving through KS and stopping off I-70 and seeing the only food option being a Blimpees.
The person who owns the company that picks up my trash may be a shit tier human being too, but as long as my trash keeps being picked up on time and there are no other issues, I'm going to keep paying them to pick up my trash....which, from time to time will have Jimmy Johns wrappers/bags in it. I like food waaaaay too much and there are waaaaaay too many shit tier humans.
If you guys are thinking about what to get for lunch or dinner tomorrow, Jersey Mikes is donating 100% of all proceeds to local charities in your community.
Big wreck double meat and bowl of Mac is amazing cheat meal. Gonna check if I have a Jersey Mikes in area, don’t think I do.
Yea if it's the same article I read Monday, the headline is kind of misleading. Was basically non conclusive likely because it was covered in mayo, scraped off a sandwich, frozen and then sent across the country. It did mention that inside edition ran tests and they found tuna.
This American Life did an episode where they figured out that fried pig rectum is almost indistinguishable from fried calamari :)
Not a sub chain, but 1) MCAlister's, 2) Jersey Mike's, 3) Firehouse, 4) Quizno's, 43653467543634) Subway Haven't tried the rest
My step granddather in law? I guess he is once shit all over for me suggesting we go to chikfila...and then proceeded to take me to subway.
Swai is illegal in Alabama and Mississippi. Alabama also has a law that any restaurant or store selling fish has to tell you its origin. It’s probably tuna, but highly processed.
I've kinda always assumed that canned tuna or tuna you get from a sub shop is like half by-catch fish. Don't even care.
Just had black angus steak from Quiznos at Denver airport for first time in years. Not near as good as I remembered :(
Still Firehouse, but that might be because the one near my house is very above average. The regular ones are quite inferior
A family friend of mine started Jason’s. I had some clients in town from New York for six months like 7 years ago and they only wanted to eat there every day and I haven’t been back since.
I'm still going with Jersey Mike's > Firehouse. McAlister's better than both but can't be included since they just do sandwiches, not subs.
Jimmy John’s is like pickles or cilantro. People who despise it have really strong opinions about it.
