At the last school I worked at, if I traveled with the lax team and we went through the Richmond, VA area we would always stop there for on the way to the game or the way back. Not gonna lie, I often based which away games I went to based on where we were going to stop to eat. Jason's Deli WASN'T that good but it didn't hurt the cause.
I feel like the only thing that makes Jimmy Johns any good is the bread. There’s really not much to it otherwise. I’ll eat it, but prefer other places.
Haven’t been to one in probably 12 years but I think I used to get a toasted club with some type of French dressing on it that was really good.
My daughter worked at subway for a few years before she went to college so I’m sort of a sub expert, feel free to ask me anything. I voted for Potbelly’s. I like the humus sub and they’ve got some good ass milk shakes.
Think I've posted this same thing itt but whatever (first job was at Quiznos), subs were expensive relative to their biggest competition (Subway) because of the reasons mentioned in the video. The quality of Quiznos was definitely better but probably not worth the price, especially when Subway did the $5 footlong promotion.
Yeah you would go into Quiznos and pay $12 for a sandwich. It was good but I can see how that wouldn't be sustainable in the sandwich market.
Yes it slaps get a hot sub there though. Not really known for their cold subs Their fries and lemonade are Christ tier
I’ve been on a huge jersey mikes kick lately. i used to always get their club. But I started getting the chicken Philly or the Turkey provolone double cheese and it’s just addicting.
Rotate between club, club supreme (add CPR to either of those) or chipotle cheesesteak/chipotle chicken. Maybe my only Jersey Mikes complaint is ordering a club and them asking if I want bacon...yes fool it comes on the sandwich. I have had a numerous to go orders missing bacon and I don't get why that's not automatic.
Had to go into the office today and a coworker brought in Firehouse meatball subs. I had kinda forgotten how good they are.
Firehouse is always legit, especially if you can eat it there. Lettuce gets a little soggy on the ride home
The California club at jersey mikes is legit but yeah potbelly is the best. Their hot peppers are the best ingredient among all these places
I'm very invested in rooting for Jersey Mike's with what they do for special olympics but man, I'm still Potbelly #1
Love this sandwich as well but I sub chipotle Mayo for the ranch and then ask when they are cooking the chicken to throw the cherry pepper relish on and cook it in. If you go cold cherry pepper relish it makes it too soggy. Being a total pain in the ass though requires you to tip more than usual.
The one by my house always has fresh bread and meats. I’ve eaten at several others and it’s by far the best one I’ve been to. Very well run
My lady & I getting high as shit on a Sunday night and getting firehouse, no less than twice a month, is the safest bet of the century. Potbelly fucks though.
Jersey Mikes mini Tuna & regular club - CPR on both - jalapeño side cup Also the one closest to me is like the only place that has Mr. Pibb out here.
Just had a Jersey Mike's Original Italian The best/most famous sandwich place in the city is two blocks from me. Its typically about a 45 minute wait on a weekend lunch rush at their deli counter for a sub. There's a Jersey Mike's right across the street, and man, the amount of times I've seen the line and turned around to go straight to Jersey Mike's has made that place a killing
My fiancee worked at Jersey Mikes for about 6 months while I was still recovering from arm surgery it got discontinued but their Pastrami Rueben on Rosemary Parmesan bread was damn good.
Jersey Mike’s If cold I get the Italian with lettuce, tomato, onion, herbs&spices, yellow mustard, on wheat. Hot I get the chicken Philly. Fucking outstanding sandwich.
