breakdown by team. A lot better than NBC but still some misses. Carolina and Florida should have some/more national games as they are two of the more entertaining teams in the NHL and as always there is not enough McDavid or Toronto. Thank god that they limited Buffalo and Detroit. We shouldn't have too many unwatchable games on national tv. Also, interesting to see the Ducks get games, but I would guess that's for west coast double headers.
Line’s thinning, but it’s still there. Having more parties helps. We have the NDP (AOC), Liberals (Biden), the Conservatives (DeWine), and the PPC (Trump), and the Bloc (in Quebec only though). The PPC is polling between 4% and 8%, but most importantly it concentrates the nutjobs and not only takes away votes from the conservatives, but also forces them to distance themselves from the PPC towards the center, which is good.
There’s rumours Kaprizov has the Sputnik vaccine. To be honest I’m not sure why countries are strict on which ones they require a foreigner to have. Seems very negligible in the overall context of covid spread in the disapproving country and screws a lot of developing country residents who have limited opportunity to get the approved ones.
Canada is definitely different from the US. Places like Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba which are full of staunchly anti-Trudeau rural farming/oil & gas types are 65-75% vaccinated.
It's kind of crazy that both Eichel and Tarasenko didnt get traded and will start the year w their teams. Im still holding out hope Tarasenko comes out, plays well and has a change of heart.
and smokes, it's funny how many russian nhlers smoke. On spittin chiclets they talked about gonchar(if i remember well) being the first guy in the shower after the games and he was always smoking a cigarette and downing a few beers.
Maybe the most fun I've ever had watching a hockey game. You knew that in a couple years those guys were going to take over the league and that we were never going to get to see them all play together in a competitive game again.
I’ll never forget watching him play an AHL game for the Islanders affiliate and he couldn’t skate. we spent the entire game laughing at him. he turned out ok in the end I guess.
galenchyuk signed a PTO w the Coyotes. man that dude has fallen fast. I would think someone would take a cheap flyer on him.
It’s nuts when you consider he couldn’t sign a offer sheet. I get there is the Russia option but man that was a fairly weak bluff.
I figured that would be what the contract would ultimately end up at. It seems like a lot for just 55 games in the NHL, but I don't think any Wild fan would complain with that price.
How long do you think he would have gone back to Moscow? I guess if you really believe he would never come back to the NHL, you give in, but I can’t imagine he was willing to do more than a season in Russia.
As much as I love Brady can’t see how even 8 by $8M makes sense for him but that’s where he will probably land.
