it is with a heavy heart that i must announce that jake tapper is getting horny online for the troops once again
Maybe instead of donating items and passing the cost onto others, how about a corporation that had revenues of like 9 billion just give some fucking money....or hey IDK maybe the fucking 800 billion military budget be used to take care of veterans
I assume they're saving most of the good memorabilia for the multiple Brian Kemp fundraisers they'll donate to over the next 14 months.
I'm not all that familiar with Lee but damn he's got some impressive numbers in Gwinnett this year and really for his whole minor league career. Since he moved into the bullpen in 2018 as a Marlins prospect he's pitched 166.1 innings with a 2.06 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, .195 average against, 9.25 K/9, and 2.65 BB/9 across A+, AA, and AAA (and over half of those innings coming in AAA since they had their homer explosion back in 2019). Maybe he can give us something.
Lee got a brief mention in Fangraphs Daily Prospect notes the other week. Yoan López, acquired from the Diamondbacks earlier in the year, has been sitting 95-98 with Triple-A Gwinnett, but his fastball’s lack of movement means it doesn’t miss many bats. His slider is still plus when located properly, though. He’s the lone 40-man member in Gwinnett’s bullpen, though Dylan Lee (throwing strikes, up to 96, lots of in-zone fastball whiffs) has out-pitched him,
Lol Chip Caray has to have the worst depth perception of any human on earth. Dude thought that ball was in las vegas and it didnt even clear the wall. He thought ozzie’s fly out was a bomb too
I think the reason for the delay in the HR call is because the umpire was trying to decide if it was an infield fly or not. Some of you will get the reference.
With the Cards winning 11 in a row, feels like Braves/Phillies is the only race left in the NL for a playoff spot.
Seems like we're catching San Diego at the perfect time as well. Tatis and Machado fighting in the dugout, 5 losses in a row.
