yeah you get 1 per month https://www.howtogeek.com/670241/how-to-subscribe-to-a-twitch-streamer-using-amazon-prime/
Once I start working from home I’ll tune in more. Now I have to watch from my phone and it’sa battery killer, even if audio only.
I tried to get some resources with that glitched Cursed Chest challenge, didn't get to Rot Level 3 yet though. After I beat Taro again I'll probably go try to do that
I'm jonesing to play some chess, going to stream it shortly. Come watch me play badly and hang out in chat.
Thanks gents for jumping in, that was a blast, glad to have confirmation that my skills are as bad as I thought they were
Yeah he sucks, I fought him at least 40 times before I beat him, which of course I now need to go do again. Get in super close to parry with the shield, and just stay the fuck away when he gets down to half health. The rest is just feeling your way through it
Just beat him. It did help playing in tighter rather than just keeping distance. I did have to grind a little more to get the perk that starts the fight with dots available.
Celebrating America's ass-kicking at the Ryder Cup with a beer and PGA Tour 2K21 on stream. Come hang out and drink with me!
Beat both Kena and Deathloop this weekend Kena- Expert difficulty was super tough, and the last boss took forever. It was really satisfying to finally finish. Enjoyed this game a lot, even though the story is kind of me. I got used to the combat timing pretty early, so not many issues with it for me. I'll probably keep playing this similar to minecraft or no man's sky as a relaxing time waster. 8/10 Deathloop- Only thing I have left is trophies for killing people a certain way and a few weapons to get. Not sure I'll ever get around to finishing that. It was only mildly satisfying getting all the kills in one loop. There just wasn't much special about this game. It was just fine, but nothing at all revolutionary. Journalists were way off on scores for this one, in my opinion. 6.5/10 Now I'm playing Tales of Arise. About 10 hrs in so far and I'm enjoying it. Combat system isn't as good as Scarlet Nexus (My 2nd best GotY behind Returnal) but I hear it really opens up soon.
We need a crew playing this once the PS plus games come out next month. We already had a few that tried to get into it but that fizzled out
yeah it figures i buy it on PC and then it ends up on PS Plus. Oh well, I'm definitely down to join the crew when it hits
nice work son, you are killing it! Glad you liked Kena, I don't think you are too far off on Deathloop, I have a feeling the more I play it the less I will think it is great instead of good. The performances are really good and there are some awesome touches, but I can understand the frustration of the constant re-playing and not feeling like you're getting anywhere.
Going to stream at noon today to see if that makes a difference in drop-in viewers. Stop by and hang out! Link is in my bio, don't want to be annoying and keep posting it ITT. The PGA stream yesterday was absolutely horrible, apologies for anyone who tried to watch, the video just froze multiple times. The game is apparently too new to play and stream, so I am going to do something hopefully less cpu-intensive in Command & Conquer Remaster today. Might stream Dead Cells from the PS5 later in the week too.
Voice acting was close to perfect, honestly. Best part of the game for me. Weapon variety was not great and level design was pretty bland. There's basically one pistol, a hand Cannon, 2 shotguns, an SMG, and 2 snipers. The legendaries aren't really too special from the ones I've played with.
This is my assessment as well. Character / weapon trinkets are blah. I’m also not a big fan of disappearing/transporting julianas appearing and wasting me out of nowhere
FIFA 22 reviews starting to roll in. Seems like a good enough game but reviewers really hate what EA has done to Ultimate Team modes (monetization). I've never played ultimate team, so I really don't care.
Etc. It’s a roster update with a UI reskin, I hate-play it when someone inevitably buys it for my birthday and then drop it in a month when the perpetually-the-same career mode bores me and they continue to not implement online career mode despite knowing how to do it with Madden for how many years.
I haven't played it in more than half a decade. Used to love it in the early 2010s. I am not the person who will notice that it is the same as the last few years, if that is the case.
FIFA is great as an EA Play title. Never really feel behind on it but enjoy the occasional soccer game. Volta is fun.
Sadly I wish we could say it was just a reskin but they find ways to make the gameplay worse each year. I do FUT but it seems the last couple versions have been more fun to grind the menus than actual gameplay
It’s the only mode they put any effort into updating/upgrading is the main appeal Clubs is by far best game mode when you have a reliable group to play with
On the surface Ultimate Team modes make a ton of sense. Just think of going through trading cards as a kid whether sports or even Pokemon or whatever. There's an absolute appeal to opening card packs and putting together your best cards to play with. I think on the surface thats cool as hell. But as it has grown into the over-monitization monster that it is...I have no desire to play those modes. But I get why they could be really cool.
Some countries have banned fifa points. I know for sure Belgium did as they state it’s gambling for children. If enough countries did it, EA would have to look at making the game Mature/18+ There was video a few years back of a big streamer packing Ruud Gullit and he lost his mind so they were using that clip against EA for the reaction of basically hitting the jackpot
Yeah along these lines im waiting for NFT and Ultimate Team to merge somehow. The idea of the exclusive get but then UT would have to start carrying over year to year and be permanent ownership over cards. But with the NFT craze I'm just waiting for it to impact UT somehow---but I can see how that can be legally problematic with minors.
I mean I've been itching for a good arcade racer...but I do think my kid will like it. And if he doesn't well.....dont mind me.
The Juliana invasions were a cool thought, but felt poorly executed. I can't tell you how many times I had a fully decked out pistol or hand Cannon and nail her with every shot, only for her to just casually stand there and one or two shot me. Other times I destroy her easily, so there is no consistency. This one was my favorite encounter, though. I went on a run of 3 or 4 straight losses (ending long runs) and finally got her. Resorted to teabagging for the first time in forever for some reason, though
I’ve one shot her a few times with that fast shooting shotgun. Other times she’ll take 5-6 shots before going down. Not sure if it depends on her slab or not. Visionaries go down in one shot if they don’t see you.
Doing the rogue-like thing with Dead Cells on stream in 10 minutes. Beat it on PC but haven't played much on PS5 yet, come watch!
A good game to stream would be Timberborn. It's a new game that came out and I found myself watching videos on it for 2 hours the other day. There's only 1 or 2 that stream it. Same as TemTem. The only TemTem person I saw streaming was an asian girl I couldn't connect with, so I didn't watch.
We are almost twins (except you're better at getting plats than me). I bought all 3 of these games over the weekend and dabbled in Kena and have gotten into Tales of Arise yesterday. I like Tales, but I'm still kind of struggling with combat. I feel like I'm just button mashing. I really hope you don't have to beat Kena on expert difficulty to platinum it. I felt like I made it pretty far in just a few hours of this game, so if it's short, I may give it a go on expert if needed. Game is definitely beautiful.
