For fear of coming of xenophobic but I’ve never been into watching much “foreign” media (movies tv) I put foreign in quotations mostly because I mean things in languages I don’t speak more so than from a different country. I usually don’t have the attention span to read the subtitles and dubs usually are awful. So for that reason I haven’t watched a few shows I’ve been meaning to watch. I didn’t let that stop with Squid Games and shit it’s a great show.
Squid Game seems like Hunger Games + Saw + Parasite all rolled into one i’m only through episode 3 so far though
Started watching the first couple of a scenes of a movie last night called “No one gets out Alive” or something and it was pretty good. Passed out bc it was late but gonna finish when I can. Horror movie
Finished Midnight Mass. Thought it was well done, wife and I both enjoyed it. Don’t expect any good scares though. Way less (none?) than Hill House or Bly Manor.
Our very own Clown Baby has been working on the script for Worms Attorney for years now. Based on his own life.
Nothing worse than falling asleep while streaming a series and it keeps going several episodes and then having to go back and figure out where you were to continue watching
It's fantastic. I finally finished S3, the poo bus episode was just all time great. I also finished Gomorrah which I realize is hbo max but man that show is great too.
Anybody watched Upstart? It was originally a Crackle original. We really like it so far. It's got Martin Freeman and Adam Brody in it.
season 1&2 were good. season 3 was all over the pace and made no sense. Ronnie is probably one of the better TV characters you'll come across in any show
I jumped in blind and it turned out to be just Jake Gylenhaal talking on the phone for an hour and a half
wife has got me watching this, about halfway through S3 I’m assuming there was some Covid related thing going on with the actress that plays hope hence this weird hurricane storyline and only time we see her is via zoom
Finally started Squid Games. Think I just finished episode 5 or 6 (marbles) and I’m really liking it. That was my favorite one so far.
loved it but I am a sucker for these types, some people here commented and it was positive so it made me feel better. ronnie is a great character, that’s what’s up
guess I'm in the minority regarding The Guilty, I was completely enthralled from the get go and thought it flew by
