So this must mean Ynoa is not the opener? We don’t really have a ton of RH options in the BP, which is wild to say.
Gore has 67 career at-bats and 49 career steal attempts lmfao He's had 6 seasons where he's logged at least 1 plate appearance and in 4 of those 6 seasons he has as many or more steals than at-bats What a career
Base running is pretty valuable late and close, so I won’t get too upset with Gore over Pache. Might have used Strider over Gore though, especially with that game four potential bullpen game. Pache and Heredia as late defensive replacements sounds nice until Will blows a lead and then those two need to get ABs in the heart of our lineup. One defensive replacement is enough late, so it was always Heredia or Pache imo
If anything I'd have brought Strider over Arcia but I understand wanting more than one extra infielder in case of an injury.
I can't wait for Gore to pinch run for Austin Riley in the 7th inning of a close game and then we don't try to steal with him and he gets stranded on first and then Orlando Arcia is hitting in a big spot in the 9th inning after Will blows the save in Game 3 or 4
Kiley ranked all the starting pitchers in the playoff.. Brewers had 2 of top 4. Dodgers had the other 2. Charlie 8. Max not in the top 10.
mlb.com put out a list of the top 50 players in the playoffs and ozzie for some reason did not make it
I think you guys are being too hard on Bally Sports. If anything, baseball games should be harder to watch. Sort of a sport within a sport. And full disclosure, yes, I’m a Bally shareholder. He deleted the tweet but DOB tweeted out a video of who he said was Gore waiting to hit BP. Only problem was it was pretty clearly Ehire Adrianza.
This Brewers bullpen isn’t good outside of Hader and Williams, who is recently deceased thanks to that wall.
