On a SNKRS algorithm deep-dive last week, I've seen discussion that the more you enter and win, the higher priority you get in future wins.
I don’t own a bot nor do I enter all that much. These days unless it’s something wild or a dunk I’m not trying for it. I don’t have the space. We’re looking to build in the next few years and no longer live downtown.
I didn’t even realize those pattas were dropping. They’re orange so I have to buy them. Will ship to grandmother’s to hopefully not be noticed by the gf. She’ll know they were expensive now that she pays attention
i’ll be in SoCal the 22nd thru 30th between these and the strawberry coughs on the 22nd it’ll be a nice flashback to my teens and skate shop cops
I live in a skate shop wasteland. Probably only 3-4 legit shops in the entire state. And of those the one i used to frequent stopped getting shoes.
I hated the fragment waffles so I didn’t try. Going to be an expensive month between the strawberry coughs, milks, parras, and mummys
denver is decent there are a couple good ones and i’ve gotten in good with some guys at emage, but there’s just an authenticity that’s missing i think i was spoiled by SoCal and the huge skate culture
I feel you on the authenticity thing. Seems like anywhere i go anymore the people in places are just there for a job or paycheck. They dont have the interest or care in the stuff. Maybe the entire culture has just changed or something. Used to the people in those shops were there because the stuff was their interest and passion. My go to spot was a surf/skate shop and the dude who owned it was like a 50 year old granola dude who lived and breathed everything in that shop.
Something you had a notification on for probably got pushed back. Cant remember which pair it was but i had that happen a couple of weeks ago.
Fancy shoutout for an easy transaction on the Yeezy creams that one of my reps was on the hunt for! Took less then a week
I put a placeholder bid on the parras thinking it was low but it was accepted. Hopefully I can hit on snkrs and have two pairs. They sold a lot cheaper than I was expecting
Patta, not Parra. Patta is a boutique, Parra is an artist. They have collab'd together on the Cherrywoods, but not the same thing.
