Lux has played pretty well but can Ron Darling cool it down some. The phrase sensational all year and Lux do not belong together.
He has been great since August. Before that, he was largely bad. Glad he has found it, but that statement was absurd.
this is so wild. the Braves just woke up one day and were like "yeah I think we'll start playing modern defense."
Brad Hand was unmovable last offseason before he was dumped by Cleveland. His stuff wasn't nearly as good, but he was making $6M less, too. Kimbrel seeming to be incapable of doing anything but "start and pitch the 9th inning" really limits the possibilities of who he can go to, as well.
Yeah I don't disagree with your point, I was just answering your question. No way anyone takes all that money on.
The last 30 days of the season the Brewers were 29th in OPS, 30th in average, 18th in HR, 27th in RBI, 26th in runs, 30th in hits, 29th in OBP, 30th in slugging %. September was a regression back to the mean.
No baseball tonight sucks. Shame Houston and Boston couldn't just start their series tonight for my entertainment purposes. Not sure what their problem is.
Didn't it start with sweeping the Cardinals too? Or was that the end of August. No one will ever solve the baseball momentum going into the playoffs puzzle, but they definitely fall in the category of coasting in and not turning it back on when it counted
Feel like the Brewers completely over perform every regular season then expectations are built for them and they suck ass in the playoffs
Think that was more true in past years when they were piecing together 6 innings of pitching most nights. This year the pitching was legit. The offense was always a question, but that's a really good team if Yelich is half of what he was in 2019.
#Cleveland Guardians any insight on Carter Hawkins your assistant GM? Cubs apparently are hiring him to be our new GM.
